I am having a blast with my GoPro. I have walked hours and hours and hours. I love what I capture. It is my best friend. I think it is super important what SD card that you use to get the best visual quality. And remember you can't change the lens, so make sure the SD card is amazing and I find it is best on the really beautiful sunshiny days! I am really happy with it.

Great product! This Hero 8 has alot of tools to capture kids sporting events.

This camera should get 5 out of 5 stars. But I bought it to use primarily as a webcam. Gopro's own site says it can be done without issue. But once you dig into the process it takes some set up and to get the true 4k quality you need to buy 4k adapter for another $100. Once you get the setting right the camera works great for this. I have also used this as it was originally intended, in my car and outside. It is an awesome camera for that.

We were wanting something a little more durable than an iPhone for taking photos and videos while hiking and being on the water so we picked this up on the way to a float trip. The quality of the images and video is amazing and so far we are not seeing any distortions (saw a lot of issues with a knock-off a friend had). The interface is a bit clumsy until you are used to it and we ended up getting the remote to make it a bit easier.

Good video. You will need to get an extra battery if you plan to use it for long periods.

Camera quality, durability and picture quality are all top notch, but I can only give 3 stars due to the battery. Battery life is absolutely terrible, I had to purchase extra batteries so now I have to remember my extra 3 plus the charger. Having to constantly swap out the batteries is a bit of a pain. Otherwise this is a great camera.

This was my first go pro and I really like the ease of use and video quality.

Hypersmooth for all resolutions and fps is a nice addition plus options to choose the level of stabilization is also very handy. Higher bit rate video files for 2.7k and 4k + upgraded glass and lens cover are an improvement over the 7 and definitely retain more detail than previous gopro's Time warp feature is better than 7 delivers good hyperlapse videos. No freezing issues so far. Buying a protective housing + lens protectors is MUST.
