Great action cam. I've owned several gopro models. Every one is better than the previous.

Very good camera the only con with this i have to say is the battery itself it lasts very little.

This camera is great for capturing pictures underwater and while doing other activities such as hiking and biking

When using GoPro on water this is what u need so u will not lose your GoPro to the bottom of a lake!

We use this thing nonstop for snowboarding, I set it in the corner at my jobs and do time laps of production. Its awesome.

I purchased this item from a deal, they were supposed to include also a memory card but I've just received the gopro camera and a battery. I admit that I had high expectations after reading all the impressive reviews but I found this camera to be just average. The firmware is ok but it takes a while to get used to the navigation in the tiny screen..after using it a few times I noticed that the camera tends to overheat and the battery life lasts for about 1 hour, definitely less than what I've expected. Don't bother purchasing accessories like the tiny lights because they are useless and they are overpriced.

Used primarily for moving shots. We mount ours on the GoPro dog harness, works great!

I went from a GoPro Hero 2 to the 8. Huge difference in quality. I wish it had a front view screen to frame shot when in selfie recording.

Terrible camera. Brand new battery only held a charge for 1 hour in the cold. Voice commands did not work. Customer service at GoPro are not standing behind their product or promise.

I needed a GoPro camera and was going to pick up the Hero 7 but the Hero 8 Black was on sale and so close in Price to the Hero 7 so I figured it’d best to go for the newer camera. One of the things that I prefer about the Hero 8 is the fold out tabs on the bottom of the camera, this makes it easy to mount and change batteries etcetera, it’s not as easy in the Hero 7. The one thing that the Hero 7 has that is better is the removable lens, however; if this is something you desire I would just go with the Hero 9.

I love this camera. It take good pictures and it works well with me installing on my bike while I ride.
