  • Non-Replaceable Screen is the Big Con

    Everything is great, and it is an upgrade to the 7. EXCEPT the SCREEN ISN'T REPLACEABLE! It's an action camera that gets beat up (getting beat up is in the job description), so a non-replaceable front screen is unacceptable b/c you have to baby this camera that should go anywhere. Go with the 7 or wait for the 9. The 7 is on sale now anyways, so save the money or wait.

    This small camera is built pretty solid and of high quality. It was purchased because of the voice command features. It will be mounted on a pole on my husband's kayak so he can take photos of any large fish he may catch! We have tested it for this setup and can't wait to try it in action out on the water.

    I love the gopro 8 all accessories are compatible unlike the gopro 9. If gopro8 have front screen and highier MP i stay with gopro8 after upgrade9 i spend a lot. Old accessories not compatible anymore. Bfore you upgrade read the comprisson first and compatible accessories otherwise you will start from the scratch.
