This is a really great camera. We brought it on snorkling trip and took clear underwater videos. It's small and easy to use. Looking forward to using it for surf video.

The Hero 8 is a superior camera that has more built in features than the average person would want, and that is a good thing. I purchased this camera for time lapse and the weather proof case.

So far I have no issues with this camera! I bought it right before the 9 released so I got a great lower price and its worth it! Sounds great, looks great, and stabilization is awesome.

I was so excited to get this for my husband. It works great! when it works. We charged the new battery fully before using it but after 40 mins (most of the time I had it turned off) the battery was dead. We purchased another battery and the same issue. But when the camera does work, the clarity is awesome, the video motion stabilization is absolutely wonderful. I do recommend this product as the quality is great, I probably just got a dud camera. Going to return it and see if it is same way with new one.

Brilliant stabilization. Great options for different fields of view.. Great image quality... The linear field of view option at 4K gives it the edge over the Hero 7....

I've been really happy with this camera! The stabilization is even better than the 7. However, I've noticed the camera gets pretty hot after time lapses or longer recording sessions, which is a bit concerning.

The camera is awesome. It packs a big punch in such a small device. The video and audio quality produced by this camera is amazing. I am so pleased with this purchase.

Great camera with image stabilization, I wish battery time was a little more with all the bells and whistles turned on. All in all a good camera.

So far so great! Came from a hero 3 amd the stabilization in the 8 is incredible! Also once you set all the buttons and settings it's real easy to use

Camera has crisp video and it’s always getting better. The photographs coming from this camera are very good. The video is very smooth at every pixel variation and the colors will definitely brighter. Selection inside the menu is getting easier and much easier to make vids turn out great. I used it without a case for awhile recording sports games and the video is smooth. Mic is ok and will record but look at an aftermarket mic and compare sizes the GoPro can only hold so much in that frame. I will continue to use it and I have bought accessories including a case with hookup for light and mic.

This was an early Christmas gift and I think it has a good quality and it works good. He really liked it when he got it. And we use it a lot. Easy to use.

I had a hero 3+ but this hero8 is awesome. Only thing is have to play around with all the features. Might need some time to get used to it. Good stuff though \nnn/

amazing stabilization. video quality is very good. i use this camera for work and for play videoing my outing in the woods and for paintball play.

Finally upgraded to 4k! Love the stabilization that is included. Also, big improvement in UI of the device and the app. Would have been a 5 star except for the price tag but what can you say.

Its my first gopro and I am loving it I like how the menu options are takes great pics, I only wish charging battery and removing sd card was at a better way

Super amazing action camera and nothing compares. If you want an action camera then this is the one to buy. Super easy to use and amazing quality and image.

First of all, let me emphasize that the customer service at the Davie location is phenomenal. Everyone I interacted with was absolutely great. The GeekSquad manager, Armanda, was super helpful, knowledgeable and made everything easy for me. Hey Best Buy! Promote that lady! The camera itself is great. I upgraded from a 7 to an 8 and it's been fabulous. GoPro knocked it out of the park with this one. The quality is amazing. My next use for it is going to be for mountain biking so that way I can see it's true value with the FPS. Thanks again Best Buy for the fabulous service!!!

These cameras are indestructible and create the most crisp images and videos. Also, the small size and many accessories make it the only camera you need.
