Super smooth video footage and super stable also I like the slow motion. I regret that I return my first purchase with the holiday bundle, I return it because of a glitch with the camera and I loss some footage from Vegas and I grab the HERO7 try it and is even worse than other cameras I return it again and I go back to the HERO 8 the camera menu software is better and is responsive.

As a professional photographer, I can appreciate the quality photo and video you can achieve with this camera. The hyper smooth 2.0 is an even greater plus. The anticipated media mods are going to also enhance the quality of work to be completed with this version of go pro. The only change I would have made is placing the charger in different location so it can be charged while being used without the door opened to the battery and card slot.

Not a bad camera for the price. Does have very good picture quality. Battery does not last long when recording.

I have alot of gopros all black 4,5,6,7,8s I recently scared the front lens of the 8 and went to change it and found that GoPro NO LONGER SUPPORTS front lens changing like they did in the past . So I was told by GoPro I had to buy ANOTHER 400 DOLLAR camera. Nope I purchased the osmo action camera that does support lens swap outs and I found that I love the functionality of the dji osmo camera . Out performs the GoPro in almost every way. I won't be buying a GoPro avian till they support lens swaps like the 7 black did. Just seems like a money grab to me, they know the lens get scratched so why make the customer buy another camera over a $7.00 lens?

The quality of the images and videos that the Hero8 produces and the available customizable options it has is unbelievable. I use it all the time during beach activities and everyday use. I'm going to start experimenting with using it for podcasting and vlogging. The only reason I didn't give it a five-star rating is that the lens cannot be replaced like previous GoPro products. Having said that, I bought a lens protector and have had no issues.

We are talking about GoPro - Hero8 4K Action Camera which has at least three time higher price tag than any other action camera in the market except DJI. Unfortunately, this camera doesn't deserve the money we pay for it. That's why I returned it. GoPro Hero8 still doesn't give a better battery life, better 4K image, better stabilization after so many years since the first GoPro Hero. Overheating is another problem with GoPro Hero8 you have to deal even you are not in 4K mode. HyperSmooth is not smooth at all, it sucks even if you use boost mode. Low light problems are still there. YouTube videos about GoPro Hero8 may mislead you like they did me.

This camera inspired me to shop for more professional cameras and start a small business in videography. Please take the pro tips for settings on GoPro I found on YouTube. This camera shoots very high quality video as well as still photography. Absolutely great in every way. You will spend some money on accessories with GoPro but the camera itself is so affordable that it is easy to get started. Have fun!
