Easy to use and set up . Picture quality is excellent

The GoPro 8 is now perfect for taking video at night, It also can record in 4K 60 fps but you need to be careful of not recording in this mode if you have an old computer ( computers built bedfore 2016) will have problems playing the video as it use a new codec HEVC for compression and you will need a new computer to be able to play the file.

Bought to start videoing my hunts. It is great and I have dropped it out of the stand at least 20 times and it hasn’t effected the video quality can’t say the same for the casing but it still works great. Had to buy a brace for it so I can now mount in the stand with me.

I use this for work to attach my go pro to an extension pole to do inspections. It stays in place solidly yet is easy to remove the go pro. Works very well for the purpose I use it for and would for a lot of other purposes beyond a handlebar!

Awesome Action Camera for the price. GoPro has made some great improvements to the GoPro 8. Has been a wonderful addition to my 4K professional camera lineup. Also, I have every single mount and accessorie available that also wok with my GoPro 6. Great customer service when I purchased the camera. Thanks Best Buy.

I love my GoPro. It was my first GoPro camera. It's built to withstand tough usage. The battery life is okay. It doesn't do too well under direct sunlight (the battery seems to drain faster). Every GoPro gets better; this one is not perfect but gets the job done. I do wish it had a front-facing camera for better vlogging style content.

Just returned from a Vegas trip and I only took photos with my GoPro Hero 8. Every picture came out fantastic, even the underwater ones I took in the pools. The settings and shortcuts take a little getting used to but anyone with common sense can quickly learn it. Great buy!

We bought this to take with us on our honeymoon and we loved it. We used it for timelpases, both driving and at night of the stars, photos, videos, everything. I love to tinker so finding the best setting was my job and I loved it. There are also point and click options that make it easy to just use.

I actually bought this as an upgrade from my gopro hero 6 black and let me tell you it was worth every penny! I used it attached to my Seeker backpack and the new built in upgraded stability made the footage super smooth. I then utilized it on my head mount on a terrain race and again, super smooth. I love this camera!

This is a great sports camera. Love the picture stabilization and the voice commands. I have it mounted to my bicycle helmet and use it daily on my 20 mile ride. My only complaint is the battery life. Because I ride for 2 to 3 hours I have to carry 2 extra batterys with me. Battery life is only about an hour. Beyond that I love this camera.

Have had excellent success with the camera so far. We purchased it to record my sons practice sessions and do live feeds on Facebook for his relatives who can’t travel to see him play. The only downside is the zoom rate is pretty low, but over all it has been an excellent investment.

We decided to finally upgrade our GoPro, and wish we would have done it sooner! We use our GoPro when we go offshore fishing, and snorkeling. We like that it is water proof, easier to operate then earlier models, and the screen is very clear and easy to read. The picture/video quality is great!

Bought this for a vacation to the beach that got postponed due to a death in the family, however, when setting it up, got very excoted about using it when we go. Super cool features and accessibility, great video. Will use it in the pool until we get to the beacj

We bought this primarily for streaming our daughters softball. It has good picture/video qualkity but the big issue is that it gets hot and shuts off. We can only get about half the game.

I wish GoPro made this with a built-in HDMI port. The camera gets really hot if you charge it while in use. Battery life is poor unless you turn off a lot of the features of the camera. I’m very disappointed that they changed camera size with the next model. That makes my investment in media mods worthless if I upgrade.

I like this device, however, even though it is brand new on several occasions it has been fully charged and just stops working and won’t turn on for any reason. I’ve had to take out the battery and reconnect the charging cord and play around with it before it will turn on again which is really disappointing for a new costly product.
