I underestimated this camera. This camera is so smooth and so easy to use. I love taking this camera in the water and love the ability to create content with my kids. My kids can literally take the camera away from me and I am at peace with knowing that I will literally have no issues.

I upgraded from the hero 3 white. Such a huge change! I love it! Bought an extra battery too, if you run all the options (4K, hypersmooth, and back screen) you go through batteries quick. Noticed the camera runs hot as well. You can definitely feel the GoPro heating up, might be a concern.

Great camera. I am currently using it as a dash cam in my 2017 Dodge Challenger GT. Rodney in the DI department at the Overland Park store answered all of my questions. You guys are lucky to have him with you guys, as he truly is an asset to your company.

Well I have always been fond of Gopro and the hero 8 is amazing. Great quality pictures. Smooth. Night time mode is amazing. Compact. Wouldn't go with another brand. Just simply put if you want quality video and photos and burst shots and slo-mo. 4k, 1080p. 12mp. Than this is for you.

This is the perfect multi-purpose camera for just about any application where video recording with a camcorder or smart phone is not practical. But intuitively it functions much like a smart phone camera with its ability to record in "portrait" or "landscape" modes just by turning the camera accordingly. One thing I like is that it has the ability to instantly record just by pressing one button so that nothing is missed while waiting for the camera to boot up. The other thing that I like is that the camera can be controlled and monitored on a smart phone for situations where it's mounted in an position where the screen can't be seen or the controls cannot be accessed. This camera also has streaming capabilities for sending live video to your favorite social media platforms.

GoPro are the best sporting/outdoor cameras around. The 8 is awesome, love the stability. I don’t need the latest version, but this is a huge upgrade from my previous version. Took snorkeling in the Keys and the image quality is amazing.

The picture/video quality is excellent with no complaints in the department. However, there are a few key issues with this model worth sharing. 1, the GoPro gets rather hot when in use or charging. I find that concerning for the internal components and the potential short life span. 2, it freezes frequently once the battery is below 50% causing me to do hard shut downs and losing the video being recorded. Not good or enjoy at all. 3, the app and sync options are difficult and kind of annoying to use. The app has pretty much no good features unless get that monthly subscription every company loves doing now. Ive notice that the app also plays a role in causing the device freeze as well. For the price tag it sells for, i think this model is subpar and really isnt worth it honestly.

Excellent quality per usual from GoPro, with the exception of using it as a streaming device and/or using the camera whilst plugged in. The Media Mod case is the easiest way around this, but considering older GoPros have this ability, it is an annoying aspect of the Hero8.

We previously had a much older go pro, so this was a very needed update for us. We had a bit of a learning curve as our old one didn’t have many settings or a screen but this was not too difficult to maneuver. Was an overdue upgrade for us and love it.

This is our third model we have owned. Love the newer features the hero 6 and 7 don't have. Now battery seems to add some new enhancements, which is cool.... but stinks when you have tons of the old batteries. At least they use the same charger.

Hero 8 was easy to set up and within 15 minutes of unboxing the camera I was able to let my 5 year old granddaughter take the camera around the Thanksgiving table and conduct video interviews of all of her family!

When my wife told me that the new GoPro came out she really wanted it, we love the quality of the GoPro and how is water resistant, I bought a week before we went to our honeymoon and the quality of the pictures and videos we took on our honeymoon it’s amazing.

8 does not need a frame and is a big improvement for the older models. Only new feature I do not like is you can not take the lenses cover off to replace or adding a filter for sun. Would be nice to know if I scratch lens cover I could replace easily

Nice action camera to capture the travel moments or vlogs. Crisp 4K video and the touch screen is very responsive. It is little annoying to open the side door to connect the USB-C cable but it is ok considering the water proof feature. nice purchase.

Awesome little camera. Not as many nifty functions as the 9 but for what I am using it for (snorkeling, diving, motorcycle, etc...) it is more than sufficient. I am not sure that for what I would pay for a 9 if it is worth the extra money.

My first GoPro camera and absolutely love it !! Ease of use and the options you can use it for depending on your adventure !! Heck I even placed it on my German Shepherd Dog during protection work !!!! Best action camera around if your the outdoors type !!

I love the Hero 8. The upgrades they made from the 7 are definitely noticable. The battery seems to last a decent amount of time. I use it all the time for timelapse and hyperspeed videos and the quality of the pictures and videos is great!

First action camera. Easy to use and really like the picture quality. Wish you could review the content on the device instead of having to play on the app via phone. Also, should be able to lock the modes so you don’t accidentally change while pressing the power button one too many times.

This camera works great. It enabled me to get video and photos of turtles and stingrays underwater. My only complaint would be that it is easily changes from stills to video. I inadvertently switched it multiple times.

This was a big upgrade from my Hero 4! Love the presets and the video quality is incredible. I haven’t had a chance to really test the durability yet on the bike trail, but plan to put it through it’s paces this summer. Can’t go wrong with GoPro
