Works as advertised. I use this to vlog in YouTube and it has worked great along with the GoPro app. Wish it allowed for a case or replaceable lense should I scratch or crack it as my only concern.

got this for a trip overseas. used it under water and videos came out nice. other than that didn't much use it. to busy enjoying the vacay. voice commands are pretty handy

I almost bought the Hero 7 but glad I changed my mind. Much better of a camera. Love the extra display on the front and that you can replace the battery.

This was a gift and it was on sale during Christmas. My friend loves it and uses it all the time and the features are pretty awesome. I’m going to get one for myself.

It seems that GoPro just keeps upping there game! The 8 black is absolutely mind boggling when it come to the hyper smooth 2.0! No need for a gimbal anymore! Great product I would recommend.

I got this go pro because I started going out more to drive thru events and wanted to capture these special moments during covid. No regrets, captures great videos.

Great product. I was going to get a camera and saw this little device instead.....WOW!!! I’m able to do more with the Go Pro 8 than anything. My kids love it also.

I bought the GoPro to take mostly videos while I am riding my motorcycle. I tried it out for 2 days playing with all the functions bought an extra battery for it the whole nine yards. Only to find out the battery does not last more than 1 hour recording, now mind you I was not recording in 4k. Just wide angle. The battery device got extremely hot after only 20 minutes but I left it on until it died. I wanted to see the true length of the battery. I was really disappointed by the product length of battery. I found it amazing how a device that is only made to capture moments can only capture an hour worth of moment. For 400 dlls your better buying an extra phone. That will guarantee you more than 1 hour of recording. Not only that but when I received my GoPro I was under the impression it would at least come with a memory card. To my surprise It did not. The device will not function whatsoever without one so make sure you have one handy. I can only hope my device was faulty. I hope if you purchase a go pro it is not to record. Or if you are planing to take tripes with it make sure they are really short because you will not be able to count on your go pro to capture the moment. For someone who was extremely excited for this purchase I can’t believe after 2 days of having it I made the decision to return it and just buy a cheaper knock off version of it for the fraction of the price. Big 5 has a 4 k action camera for 50 dlls same features as the GoPro, but like I said for the fraction of the price

GoPros do what they are intended to do well! Great for travel, or putting in difficult places where a large or mirrors cameras wouldn’t fit.

Works great for all the stupid videos I make. Almost wish I had waited for the Hero9 to come out, but this is not lacking any features that I would use normally.

Really am enjoying this new camera.The gopro is more reliable than my smartphone and more professional.

THIS THING SUCKS. I have never been more disappointed with such an adorable item. Not user-friendly. Picture quality horrible. Uploading on a computer was a nightmare. GoPro, you really screwed the pooch on this one. I'd much rather sit on a cactus than to try to figure out how to upload and edit with this camera. -_-

have been waiting for a price drop and it came right on time. perfect camera for auto racing with 4k and smoothing capabilities. cant complain for the price

Bought as a gift for my sister so absolutely loves it. She used it record my families gift exchange. The recording was clear and she uploaded it to the app and we all could view it.

Have to stream external video to see on a external monitor or view via SD card. Miss the HDMI output connector.

It was a Christmas gift and he loves it He has since added several extras for it I think I created a monster with this go-pro

great for water skiing, curling, and golf. can't find a better device to use
