Great camera but unfortunately the display screen quit working

Works good underwater when I’m diving or snorkeling.

Connectivity issues have plagued me with this particular GoPro.

Good camera for action not what I thought it was I returned

To much money for what it is I don’t care for any of their cameras

Its a good camera but it is not really user friendly

The vid stabilization on this model is phenomenal.

Works well however am unable to connect to gopro app which is essential for control while skiing etc. Have worked with gopro support 3 times. they claim to have escalated and promised a call back from a senior engineer. So far no call back. Will be returning in a day or so.

It’s not that great, it wasn’t that user friendly to link to my phone. The picture quality was okay. My personal opinion it is. Dry over priced for what it is

Not good for indoor use. Battery dies way too quickly. I wouldn’t recommend to any of my friends or family.

I've owned the last 5 GoPro's and mounting has never been an issue. I get it, they wanted to get rid of the plastic housing but the cheap recessed mount is a horrible option. The recessed part is a good idea but very poor execution. With a little precision GoPro could have gotten this right but until they fix it there's no way to mount it with out it wobbling. It just makes the camera feel cheap which is the opposite of what it really is. I'll change my review when GoPro fixes this.

Took it swimming. It was placed on the deck, a splash/wave knocked it over and it cracked the back screen. You would think that a camera made for extreme sports would be more durable. If it couldn’t take being tipped over, I couldn’t recommend taking it on any activity. Then what is its use? I have a DSLR that has taken more abuse

I can’t say much about the cam because I didn’t use it yet. I bought it to ski dive, but they didn’t allow we use it. I took over two weeks to return it (usually we have 30 days to return or exchange any purchase) and they didn’t let me return it or even took the cam and gave a credit. Now I am stuck with something I won’t use, since I bought it exclusive to the ski diving event.

Needs specific sd card but yet still overheats so I returned it. Hopefully next version won't overheat

Make sure you have insurance because the first time I used it underwater here in Pennsylvania in a Creek near my house the rear screen shattered. I bought it on Black Friday and tried to return it or exchange it and they would not take it back just 15 days later. Get the Go Pro Plus. Best Buy never offered me there warranty at the time because they were so busy on Black Friday.

I was in such a rush to pick this gift up and get it wrapped, so when my son got home, he would have a surprise gift for his birthday. Well, when he opened the gift and took the GoPro out of the package, the camera lens was broken. Luckily, I was able to swap out this GoPro! The new one is fantastic!

the folding fingers are not sturdy, anyway still good

Water damage for less than a year. Never believe in "waterproof." ALWAYS have a case on.

Overheats when used in the car. Shuts off and I had to have it replaced under warranty. New one does the same thing.

I did not want a head camera, I wanted something to attach to a tripod. To make training films for the church and CCD classes ( children).
