Never owned a gopro in my life. Was looking at this, the 9 black that just came out and the older 7 black model. After seeing all the reviews and seeing that the 8 black came as a bundle, it was a no brainer. Very minimal difference between this and the 9 black, so the value is clearly with the 8 black!

Good the bundle package on sale and after 2 days the bundle price increase. The camera is better than anticipated. I did the update first and then start using it. I read some negative reviews but the good outwsights the minor negative. Love the slow motion and the super smooth setting. You won't regret to purchase this camera.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for teen boy. He loves it. Picture quality is amazing. 4-wheeling, fishing, kayaking. Was thinking about purchasing another for general use when wanting to record longer clips than I would on my phone. Makes a great portable video camera, not just for action use.

A good action camera kit, convenient tripod and easy setup. Very good initial video quality. It does use up the battery very fast.

Bought this to go SCUBA diving with but I am using it as a dash cam until the water warms up a little more. It works great as a dash cam but I suggest either shooting video at a lower quality or buying a bigger memory card than what comes with the bundle. Video and photo quality is great.

We purchased this camera for a trip, turns out it was the right purchase. The video quality is excellent and the sound quality is far better than I expected. We even dipped it into a Koi pond and got some closeups of the fish. It was a really clear picture. well worth the money if you want a camera that can do it all.

The screen is super tiny which I didn’t like but overall it was a easy to use camera. It’s waterproof so that’s a bonus.

This is a camera for people doing adventure sports or need a stabilizing camera to record videos of their vacations. There isn’t a lot of difference between the 8 and Hero 7, so right now, I’d say 7 is a better value for money, especially if this is your first go pro.

This GoPro is amazing. I upgraded from the original hero, so this has a lot more bells and whistles. The thing that amazes me the most is the quality of the video and the stability of the filming. It's so smooth.

It’s worth buying. I operate heavy equipment and brought it to work with me to test the stability of the video and you can’t even tell It’s on the machine with me. Very impressed and glad I bought this one! I do however wish the battery’s lasted longer.

Does what I wanted it for. Picture is high quality and it is easy to use. I do wish that some of the add on items were available now
