My son has been using this and I'm very impressed with the quality of video he's getting! He seems to think it's fairly easy to figure out as well.

I would give it 5 stars if we could get better battery life. I took it out snowmobiling and it took some great footage. I am excited to get some great wildlife footage in the summer and fall. It is easy to use and just what I was looking for

This item is a good Product spend money on due to its great quality and features. Would recommend if you are very much into videos and stuff.

Upgraded from a Hero 4. Most noticeable improvements are the user interface, both on the unit and in the app. For video quality, I did enjoy the stabilization options the 8 offered, however, overall video quality seemed fairly comparable to the Hero 4. Long story short, if you need/want the stabilization features for video shoots, worth the upgrade. If you're just upgrading because it's a 8 vs 4 (or what ever model you have), I was happy with the video quality still produced from my Hero 4. Also, for any gimbal users, note you cannot charge while on the gimbal, unless you want the waterproof hatch left open. I wouldn't advise to do that as the battery will probably just fall out.

Small light handle and stand used larger memory card but steady ,good picture quality extra battery for extra recording time

Amazing quality in pictures and in videos. Battery dies faster than expected but that's because I have the recording settings to the max features.

The door for the battery was a little crooked but it was easy fix. Take amazing pictures good deal on black friday i bought online and pick in store

I had a Hero 4 Black and I finally upgraded with this value pack. The picture quality and stillness is awesome. Definitely worth the upgrade. The only bad thing is the bad battery life which hasn't been improved I guess. The touchscreen is nice feature too.

Easy to use, great value, and a must have for taking pictures.

Pro: it's a cool device and mounts very well. Video is pretty high quality and it handled some rain quite well. Easy account set up. Con: battery life is not as expected and charging seems spotty. 100% life gave about an hour of use, and when the battery displayed 14% for whatever bizarre reason the camera shut off in about another 90 seconds. Definitely bring a spare battery and portable charging pack to get use on long voyages: a bit disappointing that it requires that much handling but it's definitely a cool device if you want to document your outdoors life (which you better still be leading at this time of writing).

This is the second GoPro I purchased as a present. Good product. It overheats a little bit when used for long time. When taking timelaps videos on a sunny day - yeah it’s gets extremely hot. Overall, it’s a great product.

The latest HERO8 is a well designed easy to use action camera that works flawlessly and the bundle included makes it a very good value.

This has been a great package for my amateur videography projects. The set is easy to assemble. Best used for action shots, like extreme sports, but able for narrative and other types of content.
