Very dynamic camera. I love that has the front screen to see oh you are pointing at the right frame. I’ve used it under water and the image comes out great. A most have for extreme sport

Gopro continues to improve their action cameras. This update moves in the right direction. Front screen to view that you and/or your background is in frame. We also can use it as a webcam. Many pros, but some cons as well. Its freezes and locks up. Where you have to un screw and unmount the gopro to get the battery. Hopefully an update will solve these issues.

I use this for recording my motorcycle rides and overall am happy with it. But it is not quite ready out of the box. I had to do a lot of tweaking and read/watch tutorials before I finally could get some good beautiful footage. Their software kind of sucks and instead I just use a 3rd party video editor.

I've always loved go pros, and I was able to get this one box-opened, so great value for cheap. the video quality is great and if you buy the accessory mic, the sound quality is greatly improved.

My wife and daughter used it when skydiving at the beach and zip lining in the mountains. The videos and quality were amazing. The app you download to view everything is easy. A must have purchase.

Lightweight, easy to use. Took clear photos. Easy to download and view photo/video, You need to buy a handle or some other strap that floats. We had alot of fun with it. We’ll take it in all our vacations

I absolutely love this item. All my images are perfect video nice and clear. I am not tech savy and this is easy to use.

I bought this go pro hero 9 for my boyfriend for Christmas. He loves it. The picture quality is amazing and it’s easy to use and to connect to the GoPro app. I’m so glad I got this for him for Christmas. I got it on a Black Friday sale and it came with a Best Buy gift card. Which I then used on the extra battery packs for him.

Best purchase ever. User friendly and quality is really we use it to record for our YouTube channel. Will be getting a second one.

The GoPro-Hero9 is used to help with streaming our Sunday services. Thus far this camera has proven to be an asset to our cause. The camera is easy to use and the capture quality is good.

Very lightweight and fits in palm of hand. Very convenient as it fits in pocket and is waterproof. The down sides are that when in pocket, it gets bumped at times and powers on. Sometimes slow responding when trying to change modes. If using for a good part of a day beware that it gets hot and you will at least 2-3 fully charged batteries. Make sure to use linear mode for warp in picture.

I was looking for a Camera to record family vacations and this gopro did not disappoint. good quality video. it’s a small camera so you can take it anywhere.  10 out of 10 would recommend. 

Excellent video camera recorder. Grandson wanted this specifically to document dailey routine of family friend with ALS. Video is very crisp. Able to edit video using the TV. Recording outside video is very good. Suggest puchasing extra battery with charging station. Battery life could be better.

High quality camera in a very small package. Lots of features. The camera plus editing software program is just such a bargain. Don’t sleep on these.

GoPro has outdone themselves with this camera. The front color screen is a much appreciated addition. The stabilization software is insanely good. I took the camera on a boat in semi-rough waters and the video looked like I wasn’t moving from side to side. If you’re into action cameras, this is the one for you.

These are great for what they are, but beware of battery life. Went on a camping trip where it was attached to the windshield to get some driving shots through the mountains. Had to charge it several times and only got a handful of pictures and videos. Kind of a disappointment. Also, at this price point, how does it not come with an SD card???

Came from the hero 8. Better quality of videos and stabilization is way better when doing things that are shaking the camera. Highly recommend if anyone is putting to much thought into it.

Awesome camera coming from a Hero 4 Silver owner. I finally decided to upgrade and so far am very impressed. This latest generation has so much features packed in this beast compared to the older generations as expected. The front viewer is awesome, now I can set my perfect shots without tethering to my phone. The software stabilization is impressive along with other built in features (Slo-mo, timewarp...). The camera is bulkier but nice not needing an external waterproof case and it feels solid and able to take a beating. The battery life is better since it has larger capacity however the drain seems as bad or worse than my Hero 4 even with wifi and quick start feature disabled. Also noticed the touchscreen can be frustrating at times even after the latest update. My Hero 4's touchscreen is more responsive and easier to navigate so not sure why GoPro cannot get this one right, normally it's supposed to improve over the generations not get worse. Other than those two main gripes, this camera has so much positive features that I cannot knock a full star.

Good camera, interface is a little frustrating with requirements to "unlock" too often. Also does not have Zoom feature. But quality of videos is excellent and GoPro Player software is very good.

The GoPro Hero 9 Black’s most important changes are to do with ease of use rather than image quality. Best camera and features at price point. Don't really need to upgrade though if you have an HERO 8. New mounting feet built into camera body makes everything about using these cameras so much better!
