Video is high quality and stable, a bit disappointed in the battery life (didn't last much more than an hour in the cold for skiing)...sound like this is somewhat expected and thus I'll have to get a backup battery if I want to use for an extended ski day

Works well. Easy to use. Records well. I never owned a gopro but i like how easy is to use. I like the gopro app. I like how i could stream my videos to my phone

I purchased 3 GoPro’s for my family. 1 family of 6, to record their new adventures. They love it and are recording for their YouTube. Easy to edit on their computer to fast forward decorating the Christmas tree. #2 is for an avid motorcyclist. #3 is for my fiancé, an avid motorcyclist and sort of for me too on our RV trips.

It’s an amazing camera from a hardware pov. Features are solid. Even with the overdue July 2021 FW update the menus and touch screen are sluggish. It overheats recording for long periods. And GoPro is determined to nickel and dime everyone left and right. The Free GoPro app to download videos to your phone from the camera can’t do anything except cut the video length. Any other editing including just slowing it down or speeding it up is “advanced” and you won’t be able to save your video like that unless you pay a subscription to unlock the features of the app….which aren’t remotely worth paying for. You can’t use an external mic without paying more. You can’t use an external mic without losing water proof seal unless you lay even more yet again, because the wired mic adapter required the battery tray to be open. There is Not even a QR code or even a URL in the user manual or quick start guide that tells you the name of the App needed to set up your camera. It just says “Download GoPro App”. Guess what. There is no “GoPro App”. The official app is called “Quik”. You won’t find that anywhere unless you search Google to find the name of the app. There’s tons of apps with GoPro in the name, but none of them are the official GoPro app and none are made by them. Desktop software: same problem, the Quik app for desktop is useless for editing unless you pay a subscription at which point it’s features are crazy inadequate. You have to pay for a Seperate piece of software to truly unlock the maximum GoPro image stabilization. It’s called ReelSteady and comes in two forms, a standalone PC version Called ReelSteady Go, for $99 or a ReelSteady Adobe AfterEffects Plugin that costs $400. That’s not a typo. It’s insanity. They should own this market forever, but as it stands nobody will have any brand loyalty as they haven’t earned it, so I’m looking forward to the next DJI Osmo Action, as right now the 3 year old Osmo Action competes or beats the Hero 9 in most every way.

I LOVE my new GoPro 9! The front screen is awesome, the timelapse modes are stellar and the stabilization mode is unreal. I use my GoPro to shoot everything and they really stepped it up on this model!

This camera is elite from the video quality to the waterproof and reliably. You can literally take this GoPro any where. Highly recommended. You can even use it as a web cam for streaming

Thanks to the GoPro 9 we have been able to capture some of the best hits of our daughter at softball, including her 1st homerun!! The quality is great, it is easy to use and it was worth every penny spent.

I got this to record family vacations this summer and oh boy, it totally delivered Great video quality and features. I bought a bunch of accessories (handles and cases) in order to be able to take videos while at the pool or the beach, I would definitely recommend to, at least, get the clear case and an extra battery I also got the floating handle and the external charger, it charges the batteries faster It takes some time to get used to Navigation and settings but once you learn the process you will be taking photos and videos like a pro Although I have been a long time fan of DJI I must say this IS THE CAMERA you want to get for your next vacations

Great little camera tough and easy to use battery’s last a good amount of time and are Reasonably priced if you want to keep extras I’m a scuba diver and I have had this below 115 feet with the housing on with no problems at all no leaks no problem at all this is a great camera and I recommend it 100%

I bought this camera because I was going to use it as a second source of video when creating content for my work. I also wanted something rigid enough to take on my travels across the country. I love the screen in the front of the cam but rarely use it. All the options are amazing but I am finding I could have bought an 8 or 7 and wouldn’t have noticed the difference. At the time of this the GoPro 10 was only months away. Lastly, the motion stabilization is good, but if you are really moving, like running or biking, you will see the shaking. It is far superior to a version that doesn’t not have stabilization built in. Ultimately I will have to buy a gimbal to achieve what I want from this camera. If I had to do it again, I might go with a Magic or buy a 7 or 8, save the money and if I really wanted all the bells and whistles...wait for the 10.

Good product, high definition quality of videos, a bunch of modes too choose from! Bunch of quality setting to choose from, overall happy with purchase! Maybe a little bit longer battery life.

I bought this so I could film my granddaughter underwater in the pool and at the beach. It produces amazingly clear video and is easy to use.

Definetly worth the upgrade! This version is smooth, hypersmooth and easy to use. I love the front screen and dont find the rear touch screen to be as much of a problems as others have said.

Great video quality. Tons of accessories available. Video editing is a breeze. Only complaint is battery life. Get an extra battery when you purchase or an extended cord to charge while you drive.
