Owned several GOPro's Great quality videos! Put it anywhere! The picture stabilizes nicely! The problem with GoPro and transferring your videos. Can be confusing and costly! Need to make a 1 push upload to your choice! GoPro wants their name first so you can pay them a monthly crazy fee for upload and design service...Don't like it! The models keep changing every year...

... the battery compartment is hard for me to open. However, I understand that this may be necessary in order for the camera to remain waterproof. Is not compatible with my Samsung Galaxy 7. But, works fine with my wife's newer iPhone 13.

Camera is good, software and subscription HORRIBLE

The hardware (camera) is fantastic... the software and subscription service that they push on you is AWFUL!! Don't be fooled and purchase the subscription and definitely don't use their software. The subscription offers 2 camera replacements no questions asked per year, but all you have to do is give them a $99 service fee. Their GoProPlayer software for the computer is horrible. Crashes/locks up constantly on both my PC and my Mac (and yes, both computers have the hardware to support video editing). So long story short, if you are good with finding your own editing software and have a good storage option on your computer, buy this camera. If you are going to rely on the software and the subscription service from GoPro, I would say go ahead and skip getting a GoPro.

Apparently NOBODY sells point-and-shoots in brick and mortar stores any longer. My son had a school camping trip and wanted a camera so... I had an excuse to get a GoPro. Easy to use, easy to transfer files and appears to be quite durable.

This GoPro from the start has been amazing. The quality is outstanding and it’s wireless features are out of this world. When it comes to connecting the GoPro to a computer to output video for streams, I do run into issues of a black screen at times, and you do have to purchase an extra accessory called the Media Mod which will run you up about another $80.00, but once in use the issues did die down and work as I expected it to.

I looked all over for the answer to "Is 30 frames enough?" No, no it's not. You'll feel like you're missing half the video because we're so used to 60 frames per second. The 30 frames do look amazing thought. You'll want to record 4K60 to get that amazing high quality video plus enough frames to actually feel like you're watching a video, not a PowerPoint.
