my first GoPro

I have used the Gopro at the river, pool and beach and the quality of the video and pictures is fantastic. The only problem that I have is opening it up to charge it. It's a good thing though since i feel confident that water will not go into the system and damage it.

A remarkable improvement over the 8. Seems that the connection issues and app response are much better. The media mod is a must have accessory for unlocking great built audio, ext audio and ext HDMI.

GoPro Hero9 Review

While I have not used it for any action video just yet, it is a great camera for my You Tube channel content. Check out Zipitys Garage for some of the footage. So much better than using the latest smart phone. I also love all of the accessories that are available and support the GoPro cameras. I highly recommend it.

I received it for my birthday to replace my hero 2. Light years ahead! Water proof, stabilization, connection to my phone! I recently took a trip to FL and was able to download to my phone, make a highlight video and share with family before we even flew back!! so many features and so much to learn but it comes pretty quick!

But the real value is behind the 1080p/60fps streaming potential without having the battery inside. For anyone into streaming or making videos, GoPro has a quality product worth every penny whether taking it on the go for adventures or streaming at home. Get one now or wait til the next model comes out!

A Great Evolutionary Upgrade

The front facing screen is great; the larger battery capacity is great, the larger touchscreen is great, as is the removable lens cover. It is an evolutionary change, but one that puts GoPro at the top of the heap of action cameras once again. The 5K video is a nice bonus.

Wonderful Gadget

I've gotten some great video using this both on and off the bike. It's just a great gadget to take if you are doing anything. I'd buy it again.

Great versatile camera

Very clear images with good compression to reduce storage requirements. The Hero has a lot of accessory options for mounting making it versatile for getting great shots. I researched knock offs but had to go with the original and the best.

Hero9 has 2hour battery and does not overheat!

The fact that the 9 will not overheat and shut down during a 2 hour recording or run out of battery were my deciding factors. I record my flying lessons and can't fiddle with the camera while i am Flying. i have had trouble getting it to startup recording by voice command and experiment with it mounted in the car. The extra large battery gives over 2 hours of recording.
