Customers often highlight the Karma Grip's video quality, stabilization, and ease of use. The gimbal and its compatibility with GoPro cameras are also appreciated, along with the added benefit of charging the GoPro while in use and the inclusion of a protective case. However, some customers have expressed concerns about its battery life, price, motor noise, and size, as well as the fact that it is not waterproof.

I had to return my grip I purchased because it was so awesome and worked so well I wanted the drone with it. So I bought the full set up. No one on YouTube is pro GoPro in their reviews. I've been loyal since gopro2. If you own a GoPro you need this grip. Quit reading reviews and pull the trigger. Butter Film

I like the way it works. I haven't had a chance to run with it yet but I've tested it while riding my bike. I don't like how it blocks the LCD screen.

Grip works pretty good and I like the fact that the go pro and grip charge at the same time while it is plugged in. Also comes with a decent carrying case which I did not know overall a great purchase

Very easy to use. Still have a little bit of up and down movements when I am using it while walking. I'm not sure if it has a tilt option, it would nice I to have it to capture something high.

This wonder keeps my shots steady. Snowboarding with it is as easy as can be. Mountain biking is next. I'm sure it will get great steady shots also.

Overall it's not a bad gimbal but there are some features I think are pretty necessary, like the precise motorized adjustment DJI has. It would be great to be waterproof too.

It worked, then it didn't. My Hero5 will no longer connect to the Karma and there is simply no support. It worked one day, I put it away and now it won't work. No kidding. The gimbal works, but it won't control my camera. If I manually power up the camera and manually start recording, the audio is either terrible or non-existent. The battery on the Karma won't charge my GoPro. Tried hard resets and looked for a firmware update to no avail. Called GoPro support and was literally disconnected before reaching support. Chat support says "We're helping other customers. Try again later."
This is a known issue and many people are experiencing it with no resolution or even comment in forums from GoPro. It's been going on since at least February of this year. I'm an experienced tech user and this is completely unacceptable.
I bought a Hero5 simply to interface it with the Karma. Don't buy the Karma. It's $300.00 flushed down the toilet. And, adding in the Hero5 and accessories cost, I'm out about $900.00 total. Ok, the Heror5 is fabulous. Just don't buy the Karma! No, I would not recommend this to a friend. An enemy? Yes, yes, I would. And if cursing were allowed, I would curse in this review.

This product is very smooth. The motors are very silent compared to other gimbals I've used. The only downside is that no joystick is included. The product overall is great.

Overall a good gimbal for the gopro. The integration features are great, very smooth panning. Biggest issue is horizon tilt, sometimes would be as bad as 30* off axis.

Used this on vacation to shoot video from a moving boat. It worked great and I can't say enough good about this device. It does take some practice to get used to.

For filming sports this is a game changer. I am a skateboarder and the karma grip makes it so much easier to film people. The only thing I don't like is that it turns on when GoPro isn't even attached and makes a grinding noise as it tries to stabilize.

Haven't gotten to use the GoPro Karma Grip for video yet, but based off the time I spent messing with it I do not regret the decision to purchase this accessory. Attaches well to a backpack using the Polar Pro Strapmount, which I'll use during hiking trips.

I wouldn't say not to buy this, but I am not convinced that you wouldn't be better off spending $100 less . I honestly think the reviews on tech gadgets like this are rigged half the time . Save yourself the confusion and flip a coin on which hand held gimbal to buy. The reviews here, on you tube, and elsewhere are useless and will take you in a complete circle. In my case, back to my initial inquiry . I bought the Karma Grip out of frustration for lack of trustworthy reviews .

After trying hard to locate a store that has the Karma Grip, my excitement was shuttered by the inability of the karma grip to connect to my hero 5. Did all the troubleshooting and finally called GoPro support who tried re-calibrating, resetting the grip..no luck! The grip looks and feels sturdy works on its own but could not control the Hero 5. GoPro recommended i return the product to BestBuy.! May be I got a lemon, But guess what these Karma Grips have been sold out everywhere!!!!!

As a stabilizer for the Gopro it does over all what it is suppose to do. It does have a few things that make it a little hard to use starting out 1. the controls aren't as self explanatory as you would think 2.) When charging the whole unit together it sometimes does not charge the Gopro 3, selected the different modes is not seamless (you pretty much need it set before you start so know what you need to do). Like I said from the start though it serves it's purpose.
