This is a great drone for what I use it for. I already had a Hero 5, so this drone was the best deal compared to a DJI product. It's very easy to fly, but it does deviate when hovering so you need to be careful. I occasionally lose GPS signal which can be scary, but it usually finds signal again quickly. The photo quality is amazing and the GoPro apps make it super easy to make videos with your footage. Make sure you practice flying in a large open area away from trees and power lines your first couple flights. And buy some extra propellers right off the bat because they break very easily (especially when you are a rookie). They are only around $20 for a set of 4

I chose the karma over competitors because of the versatility and ability to use my go pro camera for other non drone things. The drone works great, stable in windy conditions, while a little large it’s still portable enough to travel with.

I've heard so many negative comments about this drone and had read so many bad reviews about the 2016 model that it made me think twice about buying it. But now I'm convinced that GoPro has fixed most if not all the flaws on the 2017 model, I own it and Is very easy to fly and thus far satisfied with this drone! Good job GoPro!

With the self training on the device you can begin your first flight with some degree of confidence. You will need extra batteries. The pictures also are very clear and easy to take Recommend it for fun or business

As an avid GoPro user the Karma quadcopter has been just what I was looking for out of a drone. I have used other drones like the DJI Mavic pro which is an awesome product and a superior drone in my opinion but it also carries a much higher price tag. The Karma drone met my budget and has lasted many flights over the course of a year. The included controller connects with ease to the drone and operates without delay. I have been happy with the purchase and think that anyone considering one would be too.

smoother flight than my mavic. Video and photos are amazing and i cant get enough of the included touch screen kARMA flight controller. actual flight time isnt up to par with my mavic but picking up an extra battery does the trick

I had so much fun using my drone. Had the chance to fly it, at the canyon and around my city. Really has great stability and has the karma gimmble on the side so I don’t have to use the drone all the time.

This was an awesome deal, however I return the product only because the sales person gave me the wrong product. I wanted the one with the camera.

Using the lesson that was build into the controller,made it real easy to fly. Also the safety features save me from losing my drone when bad weather cause contact to be lost ,when contact was regain it send the drone back to my location.

Get it! It's super easy to use and it takes amazingly smooth videos and beautiful pictures! I use mine on my hikes in the mountains and it's a wonderful way to get to see the world from a different point of view!

I bought this as my first proffesional drone andI can say without a doubt it is amazing there is only one complaint i have which isn't that big of a deal the only complaint i have is that when you take a picture of something using the camera mode it will take the picture then give you a black screen then probobly 3 seconds later you can take another picture it isn't that big of a deal unless you are trying to do 3d scans of something. other then that it flies amazing the highest i was able to get it in a safe environment was 1,000 feet and there was no image lag or any issues with it i could have gone higher, but i was visiting a field and had to leave. One of the best purchases i've bought.

Overall, the product works great. It's exactly as GoPro would have you believe it to be: Easy to set up, easy to start, etc. However, I feel as though they made it sound much too simple because flying the thing takes a lot of getting used to. I wanted to use it to take aerial shots of my gym and/or athletes doing their thing, however I've since shied away from doing so because of how difficult it is to get used to it. I bet it'll be great once I get used to it, but the initial few rounds of it ended up with more broken parts than usable footage.

My only complaint about this drone was the lack of sensors, other than that far better than a DJI

The Karma drone by GoPro was very easy to use and enjoyable. The quality is wonderful, the controls are so easy and helpful, and it flies well.

I was on edge when making this purchase, there are so many drones on the market now and every single one has different features that the other doesn’t have so you have to weed out what you can live with and what you can’t. All in all this is the most complete to me. Just missing the follow me feature which I’m told is in the works.

Of all the drones i have looked at the Karma is the best price and best quality picture.

This is a very complete and easy to operate drone. Printed instructions are lacking, but the controller easily guides you through the process to fly. You get about 18 minutes of flight time. I am using a Hero 5 and the videos are outstanding. Photos are in burst mode so you get more options. I suggest calibrating the compass before each flight. I bought a spare battery with my Karma but should have included spare blades as my 2 crashes destroyed 3 blades. I like that the controller does not require a phone, although you can follow on a phone.

The size a bit intimidated me but when I had my first flight it was amazing, very stable and amazing video recordings on 4K resolution.

I went with the GoPro Karma without a camera over the Mavic Pro based only on the fact that the Karma comes with a case (even though it is massive), the GoPro Karma Grip, and a remote control that has a built-in screen. The drone flies fairly steady and takes smooth video. Waking up the drone to fly can be a chore at times because even though everything is on, the controller may not recognize the drone is on so you have to power it down and back on. Then it may not recognize the stabilizer and camera are connected, so you have to disconnect and reconnect. When it is flyable, it is pretty fun. I got some great range but ran into a few "weak signal" patches and the drone returned to the home position. On the first weekend of flying on the beach, it lost GPS signal and took off with the wind until I did a hard landing to prevent it from flying into people.
