I like all the modes for this light. In my opinion, it has a decent amount of light to be such a small device.

With go pro being all about attachments, this has got to be the laziest design they have made. You have to buy the microphone mod to be able to attach this thing to your camera and be able to use any kind of underside attachment with the go pro itself. This makes no sense at all as this thing is rated to go about as deep underwater as the gopro by itself... except that the microphone mod is not waterproof at all. Seriously? They couldn't make this come with a better attachment method so you could go underwater at night? Granted, it wound illuminate underwater all that far, but still... what was the point of this? It's just lazy and that is all there is to it. They could have at least made an attachment for it that kept it on the camera while retaining the waterproof feature. If you are considering getting a light attachment for underwater use, may I recommend you go with a third party option on this one. Otherwise your options are quite limited with this one. That being said, the light is fairly bright and it IS waterproof and rechargeable... it's just that the waterproof is almost useless without a proper attachment, so you are stuck with this thing off camera... seriously... just lazy design also at the highest light setting, this thing dies fairly fast. If you have cash and are okay with a light for the mic mod above water, okay... but for anything else... it's just dumb

After going through all the loop holes on finding a light for a go pro hero 8 on your website, i finally found this one after yall continuously kept trying to sell me the wrong make and model besides the bs yall put me through it was a great buy too bad i couldnt get it in time for my girls birthday because every single location near me wasnt in stock, excepted more from yall might be the last time i buy from best buy

I love this little thing. I've had to use this during a power outage a few times and it helped out a lot. If you buy this and mount it on a media mod. Make sure YOU DO NOT put it on backwards. From what I've heard and seen it is nearly impossible to dislodge it!

Would definitely recommend buying for the hero9 if you’re a type to take pictures or recordings at night. The attachment case is sold separately but it does come with a white protective sleeve.

Must have if you plan to use GoPro indoors. Camera doesn’t do good job indoors. I also use this light and magnetic clamp whenever I need light in dark places and need both hands.

100% recommended. It works perfectly and the 3 light levels are perfect for any situation without light. Do not forget to buy the attachment of the microphone to be able to install the light to it.

Bought this for my Hero 8 Black and this light is super bright! I am not sure how many lumens, but it is brighter than some of my rail lights that are on some of my firearms. Great Purchase!
