This camera has been incredibly fun to use on road trips! Make sure you get the protection package because you’re gonna scratch the lens with all the things you’re gonna do with it!

This camera is more of a gimmick than anything else, unless you are a vlogger and need to be able to see the screen while you’re recording. The panaramic shots are nice if you’re into that sort of thing but I couldn’t see myself using it more than on the rare occasion. I do not like the fact that this camera does not offer HDMI out, so if you were hoping to use this as a webcam you’re out of luck.

This GoPro was perfect for what we needed to do, a quick trip to Kenya and we needed a small yet sturdy camera. This was the best and held up nicely.

If you are looking for a 360 camera, this is the one you want. No stitching film together, as it is done automatically in Camera software. I cannot say enough good about this camera.

The camera shoots good footage. Battery life is not great and the camera splits the video into 8 minute segments that you will need to stitch back together in order to obtain transition-free clips. GoPro support suggest Adobe Premier which is an expensive solution. I'm sure there are some freeware options (iMovie not an option) out there but it feels like GoPro just leave you high and dry when it comes to rendering the footage back tighter.

I like the camera and 360 video is different. If I had to do it over I would buy a Hero 7 or 8 black. I use my Max in Hero mode most of the time

this version of go pro has the ability to view different angles on my recordings which makes it incomparable with the other go pro cam that I have.

Photo, sound and video quality are not very good at all.

GoPro Max is a huge upgrade from the Fusion, the original 360 camera. They did a great job making it both a Hero and a 360 camera. Yet, I could never get my 360 videos off of the camera and into the cloud or software for editing. Hours (9 hours and 3 attempts) after it should have uploaded, it did not. As a result, I took the camera back and cannot recommend the Fusion. Get a GoPro 7 or 8 and save yourself some money. Since getting access to the 360 footage is too difficult then there’s no point in spending the extra money on the 360 tech.

awesome quality, good value for the price, flawless connection between iphone and the device. Looking forward to an 8 or 12K version so it looks better quality on VR

Works great! Multiple angles gives you lots of options in the field. Wish it was WiFi enabled but that’s the only drawback.

Works as advertised. Captures 360 videos and has a reasonably intuitive interface. For most people the Hero 8 is probably a better choice.
