    Definite must have if use external microphones. I use wireless mics and this makes it a snap. Menu settings just for the mod allow you to adjust the built in mic or switch to external devices. If you have screen protectors on the view screen, make sure they are lined up perfectly or it's a bit of a pain inserting the camera.

    I needed an hdmi port, so I bought this cage. And then connected it to a jumbo screen for a festival show. Did what it was expected to do.

    Using media mod, removes waterproof of GoPro9 changing battery becomes a chore, you have to undo your mounting bracket every time, to change battery because of the butterfly tab mounting brackets on GP9. good in theory, horrible practical application
