    Nice to have. Before installing, watch a couple of youtube videos for fast installation, I was kind of loss when I got it, but it serves it purpose, excellent sound recording while Magic Kingdom fireworks event

    Although I've only used the Media Mod once it seems to be durable. It worked as advertised. I used it to stream directly from my GoPro 9 to my TV. I had to buy it because unlike earlier GoPro models the GoPro 9 doesn't feature an HDMI built plug in the camera so you HAVE to purchase the Media Mod kit if you want that feature.

    All-in-all its a great addition. However, the fact that you can't use it with an existing screen protector is a bit disappointing.

    Great add on if you go for interviews, home movies and / or vlogging. The directional mic that is included in the mod is not great (solid though), but you can‘t expect much more for the price. What makes this great is the possibility to connect external mics, lights and more.

    I ordered this online as "open box excellent". What I received was the item marked as satisfactory condition. So, I paid for an excellent condition media mod and received a satisfactory condition media mod. So far, the item works fine but it bothers me that the condition received isn't what I ordered. Their quality control needs some work.

    I picked this up so I could attach an external mic for better sound quality. The lack of water protection doesn’t much concern me with its planned usage and the ease of charging now is a welcome bonus
