Great add on if you go for interviews, home movies and / or vlogging. The directional mic that is included in the mod is not great (solid though), but you can‘t expect much more for the price. What makes this great is the possibility to connect external mics, lights and more.

I picked this up so I could attach an external mic for better sound quality. The lack of water protection doesn’t much concern me with its planned usage and the ease of charging now is a welcome bonus

A must have for the Hero 10. Its remotes out Audio, Video, and USB connections to the frame so they can be easily connected - much easier than without this frame. Very light weight while feeling robust.

All-in-all its a great addition. However, the fact that you can't use it with an existing screen protector is a bit disappointing.

Works like it says. The mic quality on the hero 10 itself is way better than the quality on the mod mic imo. Has the extra 3.5mm jack & hdmi mini and 2 cold shoes. Also gives extra layer protection to the GoPro.

I needed this for my motorcycle go pro. It was a nice addition to a external mic hookup.

Works as expected, ensure you have sufficient amount of USB C ports if you're plugging it in a PC to stream as a Webcam.

I ordered this online as "open box excellent". What I received was the item marked as satisfactory condition. So, I paid for an excellent condition media mod and received a satisfactory condition media mod. So far, the item works fine but it bothers me that the condition received isn't what I ordered. Their quality control needs some work.

Great accessory for add-ons. The mic is not that great though - but you can easily hook an external high-def stero mic and have a light attachment and be connected to a battery pack too. This makes for a good set up for longer high-def audio & video recordings.

Great accessory! Besides providing an external mic, you can also use a different external mic of your choice, or run an audio line direct from the source.
