    Great to have when you plan on using your GoPro for extended period of time. Take out GoPro battery. Plug in a external battery pack and forgot about changing batteries. Just record.

    Media Mod allows for charging on the go, a boom mic, and external accessories... tge battery charging is most helpful for on-the-go car/backpack charging.
