Bought this battery as an extra for my GoPro camera for a trip to Costa Rica.The battery seemed to hold a charge forever. We never missed a shot because of a dead battery. Took multiple movies zip lining through the rain forest that were all flawless.

You always need an extra battery. These are small and easy to change.

GOPRO battery fits perfect and lasts a long time and recharges quick.

This was a good option to purchase. If you don't turn the camera off correctly, you will use up a battery. Always nice to have a spare.

I often use the wifi and connected to my iPhone. This will drain the battery faster. Everyone should have at least 2 batteries in hand!

This battery works great since is the original product from GoPro. The image shown by BestBuy does not do justice, looks worn out. The product came in its original casing from GoPro and looks great. This works for GoPro Hero 3 Black and under, I think Hero 4 uses a different style battery, so make sure it is compatible with yours.

Gopro is a great camera for scuba diving. But with the battery life it's always good to have an extra battery charged on stand by.

even though the life of these batteries are so-so the price allows you to purchase several of them so you never run out of power.

I have some GoPro brand batteries and some aftermarket batteries (also bought at BestBuy). I always get nervous about some GoPro repair guy giving me grief about an aftermarket product messing up my $400 investment in a camera. Not that I've ever had a camera in for repair, knock on wood. And worse...if he/she was right about said aftermarket product. So, personally I prefer the brand battery and lets face it, if you have a GoPro you already know they make good products. So buy the brand battery.

Great battery for the GoPro Hero 3. Only issue is the battery life is short, which is why I had to buy this in the first place.

Easy to install: Open the battery compartment door, pull on the built-in tab on the battery to remove, pop in a charged-up battery pack and close the compartment door. Slide the depleted pack into a fast charger and continue shooting. By the time the fresh battery is depleted, the depleted battery will be re-charged.

After reading mixed reviews of less expensive 3rd party gopro batteries I decided to just go with the OEM and have obviously not had any issues with charging or battery performance. I did notice it takes a few cycles for a new battery to display the correct battery life on my Hero3+ Black edition though. Something to keep in mind.

Needed extra battery power when playingin the field. Battery I'd handy, easy to use and I'm Glad to have the backup power!

Anyone with a Gopro needs at least 2 batteries. Their cameras use a lot of power especially if using a lcd back pac.

camera was more than expected...great ackage deal and best price in town. only a "Best Buy" if bought at Best Buy.

A must have when using the LCD screen on the GoPro. The LCD screen is great but it uses the battery faster.

The Go Pro batteries last much longer than the off-brand substitutes. I used 2 Go Pro brand and 2 Wasabi brand batteries for my travels and the Go Pros lasted 2x as long as the substitutes. Worth the extra money if you plan to be away from a charging station. However, don't expect these batteries to last all day if you're continuously shooting, especially if you're using the go pro app as well. The wifi function seems to suck the battery dry for some reason.
