Wish it had a longer life

The batteries in these cameras last a good amount of time as long as you are not using an LCD backpack. Your battery will not last as long as a full 32 Gig worth of video time. But I like to keep a spare. .. My advise. Get one. Its easier to change out the battery than to wait to charge one.

Does the Job

It is nice to see GoPro doesn't charge and arm and a leg for batteries like some companies and if you are an avid GoPro user I would recommend having at least 2 or 3 of these!

I have used the GoPro brand and these are by far the better of the rechargeable batteries out there -

Stocked up on a couple more batteries to be sure I could continue taking pics and video in on our longer treks. Outstanding!
