Bought it for my boyfriend as a gift and he loves it.

My grandson is into photography. And loves his gopro

I now have 3 batteries for this camera and an external charger. Keeps me going.

Good battery, It has a decent life span while recording. It lasts for the duration of most of my rides. The only downfall is the life ia considerably shorter if the wi-fi is turned on, but that is to be expected.

Always nice to have a charged battery for a backup.

The supplemental battery doubles the life of the video time. It does require a replacement case back which is presently not included in the retail package but, with proof of purchase GoPro will provide on for free.

I bought this as a back-up battery when the first one goes out. I would even go as far as saying, if you plan on doing long video recordings you need to have atleast two batteries. Unfortunately, the only way to charge them is by charging while in the camera.

Love having another battery that is rechargeable !

If you use your GoPro for extended periods of time, you'll need extra batteries and this is the way to keep them charged. I absolutely recommend having this in your arsenal of GoPro accessories.

bought it to have an extra battery for my gopro and now i don't have to worry about my gopro running out of juice because now i have this plus the back pack battery and the battery that came with the gopro.

Purchase this battery for when my primary battery runs out, just insert this one. It's always good to carry extra battery, especially when your recording in the middle of an important event!

An extra battery is always a good idea when doing video with this camera. Easy to change and while it doesn't seem to run as long as the batteries for the other GoPro models it is relatively easy to change.

If you are shooting a lot of HD video with your GoPro, having an extra batter is a must. I recommend spending the few extra dollars to get the GoPro batter as it has a longer life and will not fail.

Bought this to replace the dead battery in my gopro hero 3. Works fine, wish the battery/camera lasted longer.

Having five Go Pros, these batteries have always been solid performers for me. With heavy use, it took two years for these batteries to start failing. Pretty impressive, in my opinion.

If you use you Go Pro as much as I do then extra batteries are a must have. Having two or more charged batteries is a must in your camera bag along with a portable battery charger.

Great battery at a great price , I use it for my drone , I get more recording time from this battery than I get fly time from the battery in My drone lol Works great and flawless!

This is a great addition that should of been bought sooner. With an extra battery I'm able to get max out a 16gb mem stick through the team whole day while mountain biking out in the field.

As the title says, it's always a good idea to have extra camera batteries. I know there are aftermarket batteries for the GoPro cameras, however I'd just rather stick to the factory equipment.
