Does what you would expect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The battery that comes with the Hero 3+ is 1180mah and this battery is 1080mah, not that there is much difference, but I didn't know i was buying a smaller battery. so just be aware. To get the full size battery you have to order direct from gopro to my knowledge. Either battery it really is fine, You probably won't notice the difference. JUST make sure you have enough EXTRAS! Went on a trip and bought 4 with and a dual battery charger. I struggled to keep my gopro shooting at 1080/48fps. I would only shoot half days though. Next trip I will get 2 more batteries and another dual charger.
