Good quality, well made. The standard battery does not have the life I expected. I didn't want to go to a bigger battery and new case so I opted for two more of the standard batteries. They are inexpensive so this choice was easy.

GoPro battery gets drain fairly quickly specially if you have the monitor. This is a must have, you don't want to be in a middle of vacation then running out of battery.

I love having spare Go Pro batteries. If you use your GoPro for any length of time you will want spares. Do not buy aftermarket batteries as they die relatively quickly. Stick with OEM.

It's a battery. It charges up in a reasonable time to keep my Go Pro on the Go Go. A solid build means this doesn't feel like it'll fall apart in my hands. Even better, IT WORKS!

Having an extra battery for your gopro is neccessary especially with the battery drain of the gopro when using wireless. Make sure you have an extra battery on hand at all times.

If you have a Hero 3 you better get atleast one extra battery. They run down the battery fairly quickly. An extra battery is essential.

It was perfect because I needed it for scuba diving but my first battery ran out. I was able to pull out this second battery and use it for my second dive. Easy out and easy in.

Thought about buying the offbrand vs the gopro battery, but it seemed to not have the same life. So far I like having multiple gopro brand batteries to keep me camera ready

Plain & simple we all know the battery life on a GoPro goes fast. With that said the main reason I bought it was for back up. It does the job & in the end thats what I want.

I was told by fellow gopro users that i should get another battery right away, and they were right. Using the gopro with the iphone app zapps the juice quick. A solid purchase. Thankfully, gopro doesn't charge an outrageous amount for a spare, its in fact very fair.

...but not what I needed for my GoPro Hero4. It's too bad the battery size is different for the GoPros. I was lucky that I was able to return it even after opening.

It's always better to have two batteries! Our only regret is that we didn't buy this sooner and ran out of battery life on hike. Bought this on the way home.

When filming videos, the battery doesn't last as long as it would if you were just using it for pictures (GoPro camera). having a back up battery really helps.

I can't believe that if you out this tiny thing in a device that it makes things GO!!! I will never truly understand how magic works, it's mind boggling!!!

I would recommend a spare battery to anyone that uses a go pro because the battery goes quick. Only thing I would like would be a battery charger to go with it

If using a LED Screen with the Go Pro you better have a back up battery. You only get 1.5-2 hrs. anyway and using the screen reduces that, so get a backup

With the battery life being short, it's always nice to keep an extra. The good news is it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. It performs as well as the one that comes with the camera. It would be great if they could improve the battery life for these.

I was able to get 60 mins of recording time using my GoPro Hero 3+ Black set on 1080p 30fps with simultaneous video and photo setting. A+

Must have!! Battery's don't last long with these great cameras so I suggest having a minimum of 2 batteries. I use 3-4,with a dual battery charger.
