Battery would be fine for GoPro 3, but was sold to me as being compatible with GoPro 4 which is NOT the case.

the GPro eats these batteries up in no time. Either the battery is poor or more likely GoPro has a poor power management design!

I do not know why this battery was sold to me as an equal spare for the battery that came with the GoPro Hero 4 Black that I was purchasing. When I opened the camera and found that this battery had a lower voltage and lower current rating than the Hero 4 Black battery I returned the "spare" .

Battery life is not long - Similar to what comes with the camera.

2nd battery and just doesn't work the legnth of a race.

For a good price, a spare GoPro battery goes a long way. I can easily record the full 2.5 hours of 1080p 60fps video on a 32 GB card before the battery goes out, which is fairly good for a 1:1 switch ratio for cards and batteries. The GoPro 3 battery is also easier to switch and use than the previous generation.

Doesn't even last an hour. Doesn't always charge up full. Many batteries don't even hold a charge. Better have an external battery handy otherwise with multiple camerasyou will constantly be missing shots.

If you want to go out for a while, and take longer videos, this is a must! Grab your extra battery and you are good to go all day without worrying about loosing power. Buy a few and never worry about what you'll miss if you don't.

It's great to have a backup battery for the GO PRO. We keep the extra charged at all times so there's a spare if we're using the GO PRO a lot that day.

Bought 2 of these to go with my newly purchased Hero3 Black Edition so I have backups. After reading a lot of reviews on the Hero3 I knew going in that the Hero3 is a heavy battery drainer, which played a big part in why I bought 2 extras. Talking with a friend who had bought some other brand of battery that would fit in the Hero3, he had said that when he was recording he had about an hour battery life. I have to push my settings to the max for these batteries to only last an hour. With my settings at 1420 I have a little over 2 hours of battery life. Battery operates as advertised and I would recommend these over an off brand battery.

This battery will easily charge an iPhone. It will not fully charge an iPad. However on a long flight it is enough to keep you going until you land. It works as advertised. Charges fast and supplies energy to my devices easily.

I bought my boyfriend a GoPro for Christmas last year and he needed some supplies for his camera. You can always find good products at Best Buy.

with the battery life being fair for the GoPro, having a second one really allows you to use the GoPro for so much longer. I have the Black and i think with the new firmware update, the battery has improved so i actually didnt need to use my second battery in 2 days of continuous photo taking.
