It's a good battery and made for your GoPro which means it doesn't mess with your warranty! I like the fact that it's on $20! If you use any certificates for rewards it's even cheaper! Wish it lasted longer though, seems you have to buy at least 2 more just to enjoy your day with the GoPro.

Gopro hero4 users need this extra battery along with the charger. Shooting higher quality or having the lcd screen on the hero4 takes up lots of power. Having a spare one will help out.

Bought this as a second battery for a vacation I recently went on. Came in handy while out and about using my GoPro and drained the juice from the first battery.

Works great, but I only get ~20 minutes of record time before it dies. It gets pretty warm while in use & during charging. It charges quickly. Buy extras if your heading out on a trip or away from a charging source. Can't really complain as it has to fit into a pretty small camera.

With the amount of energy the GoPro uses a secondary battery becomes a must. im not buying it as a replacement its a necessity for those who are constantly on the go Go GO?!?

bought an extra battery as I did not know one came with the camera. glad I did but the batteries work so well, we didn't need it.

I had to return it because I have a 5 and this is for a 4. Works well.

So the battery is fine. But that's sort of the point, isn't it? These batteries simply don't last very long - the price we have to pay for excellent video quality these days! Worth the price. Buy a stack of you're going to be out shooting for a while. You'll thank yourself.

I bought the 4 battery on accident. I didn’t know it was different than the hero 5 . Took it back and bought the correct one with a battery charger too

The GoPro 4 is a battery power hog. Even sitting idle in the case, as long as the batter is in the camera, it sucks power. Keeping a few batteries like this one works best.

I got this free with my gopro and it came in pretty handy I must say. These things are expensive but worth it if your doing a lot of recording. It lasts a good amount of time straight filming id say 2 hours so having 2 batteries is great. If you can get it bundled with you gopro jump on it as stated these are quite costly and while they are worth it I would rather spend my money on other things.

I use my go pro on my helmet and sometimes I go out to places that take over an hour to get to. Here would be a perfect example of when an extra go pro battery would come in handy especially if you dont really have the time to recharge your go pro anywhere. With an extra battery i am able to capture all the beautiful scenes on the way and also capture my ride for my own safety.

This battery is just a replacement battery. It is no better or worse than the original battery, just an extra to have because there isn't great battery life to begin with.

I was so thankful my wife got this for me because when you're having fun with your GoPro the worst is when the battery dies. This saved the day on a family outing.

GoPro - Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery is mandatory if you wish to shoot for any length of time without have to charge the pack. Buy extra and good video shooting.

Decent capacity for extended video requirements. Easy to replace the battery, too.

In my opinion when you buy a go-pro definitely buy a back up battery. The battery doesn't last terribly wrong, plus they aren't expensive. Just buy two and be safe

gotta get an extra battery for your go pro. they dont last more than 2 hours and youll find yourself reaching for a second. DONT BE CAUGHT WANTING! buy an extra

I needed a spare battery for my Hero 4 so I originally bought the GoPro brand battery but eventually decided to return it for some knockoffs from Amazon. I got 3 knockoffs for the price of 1 brand name but, to be fair, the original GoPro brand battery that came with the camera is holding up better than the knockoffs. If you want reliabililty and longevity, buy GoPro.

The plastic package was cut open and resealed with tape. My son wondered why Santa would send a gift like that. The battery it’s self is fine. Poor customer service for online orders.
