Its really good to have one during your travel or spots activity since Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery life is about 4 to 7 hrs.

highly recommend getting second battery especially if using this for a vacation that way you don't have to worry about the GoPro dying.

The battery lasts about an hour. Takes a little longer to charge. The double charger available keeps a battery ready at all times.

Very Happy with this purchase. Although I think the Hero should come with the battery being how much the price is for the camera.

What can I say? It's a replacement battery. Great for the Hero 4 Silver, which uses more juice due to the touch screen being on. I recommend getting an extra if you do a lot of filming. Or just turn the screen off. Two batteries gives me about 4-5 hours filming off and on.

Don't be left with a dead battery in your GoPro after a couple of hours of shooting! Get this and have a back up ready to rock!

a backup battery is a must. the battery has good life in it and lasts a good amount of time and doesnt take too long to charge

Needed a spare battery and although pricier than no name brands, I didn't want to take a risk with my new $400 investment.

the batteries don't retain a charge very long so this unit is great for keeping batteries charged ready to use when needed

This is a great product. Everything I have owned made by GoPro has not failed me. An extra battery is well worth the expense.

My son loves his gopro camera. He uses it all the time and we've already had to use the extra battery pack! Great product!

You defiantly need this if you have a Gopro, you don't want to be stuck without a backup when you're catching that perfect shot

Batteries don't last very long so having extras is a must. Cheap which helps. I usually have 3 - 4 with me on any trip.
