It makes it very convenient having extra batteries around, but GoPro batteries don't last incredibly long. Just remember when buying a Hero4 Silver that it will drain batteries faster because of the LCD screen.

Don't be an idiot and pull off the paper tab for some reason. That tab is necessary to pull it out of the GoPro enclosure.

Extra batteries are worth the investment. You will need them as you only get about 45 minutes with the Hero 4 Black camera.

DON't pull off the plastic tab or the Battery must be pried out of the camers. otherwise works great. ONLY fits the Hero4

Battery life isn't all that great if your shooting a 15 minute clip at night along with all the added features it'll just drain your battery life. But it's always good to have a two or three batteries available

This was a great product to purchase. We often take hours of footage with our gopro and need to switch out batteries.

With the high quality video of the GoPro batteries can go fast. Make sure to get one of these if you are planning on doing anything more than a quick shot. Always nice to have on hand as a back-up.

I would recommend getting an extra battery for your gopro since the battery does not last long if you are filming.

This battery does not get hot or nor I have not had any problems with it.

The gopro battery does not last very long, and keeping a few extra batteries is always better, for any product.

Good spare battery to have. The battery life on the gopro isn't the greatest so it's never bad to stock up on these. The negative side is that for the 4 model the batteries from the 2 & 3 can't be used

Need to have a spare when you go on vacation. Can not use batteries of previous GoPro versions.

Battery life was affected by heat and also if the camera was in the protective case or not. We ended up buy the dual battery charger which came with an extra battery and also another battery.

You can never have enough battery especially when it comes to shooting a GoPro. The battery does run out quick especially since you want to shoot lots of video. You just have to have a spare.

It works and holds a charge, as you would expect. I usually need to recharge after each use.
