This battery certainly works, but like all of the GoPro batteries, its life is just as short as all the other ones. Constantly charging them.

I get about 45-60 min of run time with this battery. Not sure what the average run time, but I think the life can be improved.

Great back-up battery. Could last a little longer, dies at about 1 1/2 hours, 15 minutes too short for my son's baseball game

GoPro batteries do not last as long as you would think, it is essential to buy at least one extra battery with a gopro.

I wish it would last longer, don't like to have to purchase something in addition after spending so much on the camera.

Keep in mind life of battery is 1 hour and 30 minutes roughl. Work with that time frame and you should be good.

It's a great rechargeable battery or an extra battery when you need it.

I will never purchase another GoPro product, since the battery life of every camera that I have used, became quickly compromised; and since I am a diver, and haven't the luxury of replacing the battery every thirty minutes, it is a colossal problem. I have attempted every fix, both on the GoPro site and every anecdotal hack internet-wide, not involving waving a free-range chicken over it. Taking out the card -- no change; battery status was at 70% within five hours and would be dead overnight. The video quality is great; the batteries absolutely suck; and the sane complaint has been leveled at the Hero 5. That one will stay on Best Buy's shelf. Sadly, I was required to leave one star; and that, sadly, feels like a lie . . .

This Battery drains fast. Get the battery pack that connects to the back. It last longer.

Its always good to have a couple extra batteries. Very convenient.

Sad but glad I bought the extra battery because they don't last long.

Doesn't stay charged very long and it's a real disappointment

Had to return this replacement because the battery life was horrible. It would die after a total of 5 1minute recordings. I'm sure if I got another replacement it would have been fine but since the one I purchased was no good I have to give it 2 stars.

GoPro has chosen to reconfigure their battery thereby making any previous batteries obsolete and if you want a new charger they were not available at camera introduction meaning that every time you used the camera you had to plug it in! This is really lame and a total disappointment from a company that usually has their act together.

not worth the money...i found it to be better to purchase extra battery packs with miltiple chargers

Battery life is short when using video. This battery was recommended by best buy.

Overall not that happy with the battery on this thing or the Hero 4.

Battery lasted very little when the WIFI on the GoPro is on.

But the GoPro hero Plus doesn't use an external battery... And the salesman didn't know what he was selling me.
