This is very handy and does the job. However, if your handle bar cross-section is in an oval shape (not circular round) as in a road bike, this might not work there. I'm not that worried on this as I still could get it attached to the drop bars of the handle.

The GoPro mount was easy to install on my bicycle.

If you just purchased GoPro camera you'll need this.

Works well. Sometimes you have to be a little creative if the diameter of the mount is not quite right and the rubber spacers don't work out. Also some difficulty getting it to stay but just tightening by hand if in a rough off-road condition. Nothing a little torque from a screwdriver can't fix just FYI.

Got this to allow me to record the ground rushing by next to the wheel, but found out that it was just too small for many of the forks on today's bikes. so we have been putting it on the handlebars, which is great, but I would like the ability to put it closer to the ground for more excitement.

Works fine. Some aftermarket products work as well for less.

I bought it for filming my mountain bike rides. I really like that I can put it on my handlebars and my front forks. It gives a whole new perspective when you want to film bike rides.

We were looking for something specifically to capture moments on our GoPro from our boat. This mount is perfect. We can mount virtually anywhere and position our GoPro to capture any view. Very happy with this purchase.

After having had 3 GoPro handlebar mounts, what I can say is that this is a defective project. There are too many movable parts, and if all of them are used, the camera is placed too high on the handlebar, causing way too much torque as the bike moves. I find it strange that this mount is barely the same after several years. The newer version feature some rubber parts, that can dampen the road buzz a bit, but I lost confidence with this product. I had 2 of these previously: the first broke after a few rides, and the second COULDN'T EVEN LAST A METRIC CENTURY. It broke after the 96th mile, on the very first ride. That's completely unacceptable. The mount requires too much torque in order to keep the camera in place: use less torque, and the camera will point down after a few miles. More torque, and it breaks. I had the issue worked out directly with GoPro, that sent me a chest harness mount instead, that really holds the camera safely, but I found it not appropriate for road biking. So, I bought the 3rd handlebar mount, but installed it differently, according to what I've learned: The ONLY way I managed to trust my camera on this mount was by mounting it on the STEM, and then the camera case directly onto it, not using the other parts and therefore keeping the camera lower and with less torque. It seems the mount will last a bit more this time. I can only recommend if it is installed this way, or in a way that does not required the extra parts.

This was easily to install and with all the attachments included with this you can set it in multiple positions for recording or taking pictures. I put it on a piece of PVC pipe to be able to record over people's heads. It worked GREAT!

Pretty good mount. I did like the rubber piece included to keep the mount from slipping. Plastic seems a little brittle. I will not be using it heavily so it may not break on me. For those who will be using it regularly, be gentle tightening it.

I use this to mount my GoPro HERO4 Session to my Quicksilver ultralight aircraft. I put a couple wraps of rubber around the bar that I use the mount on. This eliminates about 99% of the "Jello".

The mount gets the job done and is very easy to use and set up. Out of the 5 or so times that I have used it, I did have to adjust and tighen up the screws so that the camera stays steady but that was only after going down a fast and bumpy hill.

It was sold as a handlebar mount. Too late to take it back before it was finally put to non-use. I guess it'd be good for a bicycle seat post but not for anything else. Good luck.

The GoPro accessory works fairly well for mounting the camera in a vertical position on bike handlebars. However it did not seem to have an enough clamping force to work with the camera in a horizontal mount on the the seat post.

Too small for mtn bike bars ... Would fit seat post & smaller bars .. Check measurements before purchase. I ended up getting the "roll bar mount" to fit my mtn bike handlebars.
