Bought this as added protection for my Gopro 7 Black. Even with the GOPRO being waterproof, for the price of this housing, it's cheaper than buying a new one. Only use it when going going into the water or recording in bad weather. For that reason, the value to price is pretty high.

A real life saver for me and definitely a most have accessory for your GoPro. When diving or caving it is the best protection for your camera. It will keep it save underwater or for any hit with the rocks. Don't forget this item on your adventures!

Works really well keeps the go pro protected. Lens is very hard to take off to put GoPro into the wetsuit

This is a must have if you have a GoPro. Perfect and totally safe for underwater, sound is not muffled or muted, clarity is perfect. Easy to use, just remove the lens from the GoPro by turning 25% of the way, then insert into the Super Suit...don't forget to use fog inserts.

Was going to a river trip and had this attached to the scuba suit. Lost my grip, floated down the river, but didn't worry since the suit was waterproof, the floaty was a bright orange and it kept the GoPro from sinking like a stone. Found my GoPro an hour later and the footage was awesome. A must have when going on trips involving water. Only con is that you obviously can't see the screen when recording since it's on the scuba suit back door.

Used this going diving with Thresher sharks. Only beef is that the sound is so muffled that I would not recommend for anything that you need sound for as it is pretty tightly sealed.

Well built and protects camera well in the water. No leaks and easy to handle.

The only reason I returned it was because it is too expensive for the little use I will get. If i lived in warmer climate where I would be around water alot, this would be a must. Everything from water rides to snorkeling, this device will keep your go pro dry.

This is a great protection for your go pro! Keeps it from all the scratches it could potentially get from dripping it and such. The only down side is if you are changing the battery on a fogier weather or in the middle of using it in a wet situation, youre lens is technically more vulnerable since that layer is open. Either than that is a great product!!

Disappointed the new gopro does not come with the casing anymore. although it is water proof by itself, the case added extra protection to the camera. if dropped the case got damaged not the camera. so i picked this up for the extra protection.

The housing does provide extra protection for the camera - we were using it for performing a road survey for a project and had it attached to the hood. By the end of the day it had been through driving rain and lots of bugs, but the camera was clean and safe.

I bought this due to being extra precautious with my investment. lol. It will help keep sand and water away from the already water proof camera. I'm also use to using a case, so I like the routine as well. However, if you only snorkel or boat a lot, then no need really for this case/extra protection

If you want extra protection for your GoPro, this suit is a good choice. Better protection, yet you can't use the touchscreen anymore.

This case is is beyond multifunctional, I think of it as the “otter box safety” for your camera.

The fitment is perfect. I'm not crazy about having to take the lens cover off every time but it's fine. Once you take it off once it's easier each time after. I have yet to take it in water yet (snorkeling trip got cancelled) but as far as fitment and the attachments to it, I am pleased.

Yeah, I know: the Hero7 is "waterproof" to 33 feet, aka "1 atmosphere" but what if you need it to go deeper? WHAT IF, you "see something" (a manatee Mom and her baby? A bottom feeding shark?) and need to "dive down" to get a closer shot. Most of us can free dive down to 40 feet VERY QUICKLY. Why not be safe and protect your valuable camera gear? It also provides an extra level of protection AND it helps to identify which GoPro is "ready to go deep." Seriously, IF you were in 100 feet of CLEAR water (VERY EASY at multiple Florida Springs), would you not be tempted to lower a GoPro down that deep on a weighted tether to see what's down there at close range? PLUS, fish are CURIOUS when they "see themselves" in a reflection. Get out there and PADDLE!

We used this while snorkeling on our recent cruise and it worked perfectly. No issues at all.

This is a must have accessory with any of the GoPro Cameras! It’s makes the device completely waterproof, but also helps with the wind noise on extreme outdoor sports! If using in the water don’t forget to grab some Fog Inserts because you’ll thank me later!
