Yes it costs a pretty penny but it does exactly what I needed it to do. Fits perfectly and is easy to mount the go pro. The mic works so much better with this case and the camera is very svelte now.

I often do fishing videos with my gorpo and I love this product which keeps my GoPro as light as possible. Its not water proof but many of the GoPro's now are made water proof.

I use it more than the waterproof case and love it.

Great product for the Go Pro providing flexibility

I purchased the frame mount after being discouraged with the audio quality while using the original housing. Everything was muffled. While this product definitely helped pick up voices and other audio much better (due to the internal microphone being unobstructed), i had to modify the shutter button on the frame. When inserting the camera into the frame, the shutter on the camera is activated when locking the frame into place. Pressing the shutter on the frame did not work to deactivate since the button is being constantly pressed. I had to use an exacto knife to cut out some of the rubber from the under side of the frame's shutter. Now it works as advertised.!!!

This frame mount is perfect for those times you need more power than just the battery. With this mount you avoid having to drill a hole in the waterproof frame to attach the power cord!

Works like all other GoPro accessories. This mount allows external audio cables to be attached.

This housing give much better sound recording for your GoPro than the standard housing. However, it also makes it more prone to physical and water damage if that is a concern.

Got this case on sale for my extra GoPro3. One problem that you will face using this housing is detecting when your camera is snapping pictures or wifi is on or off. You can use this case for a stationary purpose, I wouldn't use this case to go underneath the water.
