Just another sick product by gopro, I definitely love it

If you are planning on running your GoPro as a dash cam then I highly recommend this. With this you will be able to have access to the charging port of your GoPro so you can continue to charge and record at the same time. Be careful though because if your GoPro happens to fall off the dash and take a tumble it is not that protected.

When outdoors not by water I use this to pick up audio

The gopro silver produces quality pictures. The jaws clamp and adapters made it easy to set up for our purpose.

This is a great beginner mount. Came free with the Go Pro purchase which was a plus.

I usually use the plastic housing that came with the hero4 when i film. However, the whole enclosure muffles the sound, so I decided to get the frame mount, and I wasn't disappointed. It's very sturdy and holds the came really well and added lens protector was a great bonus.

The new frame mount has better access to the memory card as well as an easier insertion and removal of the camera should you need to do so. In my opinion it also holds the GoPro better and the optional tab for holding a battery back-pac or the external LCD is a huge plus.

Makes using the my GoPro camera as a dashcam much easier.

This 2nd Gen "Frame" is 10X better than the original. It is also $10 cheaper than a skeleton case and except for the HERO 4 you can change batteries (internal and BacPac) faster.

I wanted a mount to use inside and outside when I didn't have to worry about getting the camera wet. It's also awesome that you can plug the camera into power for long time lapses.

worked great for a while, but after I left the GoPro in the case for a few weeks (while not using it), the lens cap pulled off part of the actual lens when I tried to remove it. It's stuck inside it, and when using the waterproof case, I now have part of the original lens stuck in the lens cap

I use this mostly for dashboard videos. The waterproof casing on my Gopro causes it to overheat in direct sunlight which is what got me yo get this frame. Allows plenty of airflow to keep things cool. The frame is a little flimsy feeling s I wouldn't use this anywhere other than inside a car or building.

The open frame is ideal for allowing my GoPro to record sound as well as video. I have no earthly idea why I did not buy this sooner than I did - a great addition to anyone's mobil video recording efforts.

I am a truck driver and when I am in the truck I use the frame to hold the go pro on the suction cup and it allows me to add an external mic by easily connecting to the ports on the side.

The GoPro Frame Mount works perfectly and leaves the Microphone and everything exposed for better recording. I'm now using my GoPro to shoot video reviews of products. Worth the money.

This is a great enclosure that is better than the waterproof enclosure when you want easy and fast access to sd card and usb connection, plus its makes the camera looks cooler in my opinion.

I use this as my go to mount for my Hero 4 Silver. Holds the camera firmly, and gives access to the charging port. It does everything I expected it to. Great mount.
