but this thing works. Lot of money for what you get.

Great concept, mostly use it for in car recordings where wind won't affect it.

The Frame is good for being able to record while having an external power source or mic input plugged in, and for the most part has worked well. That said, the plastic where the locking hinge is, is fragile and breaks easily. This is about the third one that has broken.

I loved the concept and purpose of the frame, however I found that the latch to open and close the frame gets loose & breaks very easily . I had it for only a month before the latch broke on on side. I recommend a stronger plastic or thinner opening for the latch.

once i bought this frame, i realized how useless it is even though it provides some protection. I use my camera more for outdoor so i had no use for it. If you like to record indoors or use your camera as an interior accessory for example: dash cam. Then this is good for you.

Would be a 5 star if you were able to take normal view

The frame is great however I had to rma my camera as the lens protector pulled the lens shroud off the camera. Which after research appears to be quite common. If the lens protector is fixed this would get a 5 star.

I purchased the frame because the sound on my video was very muddy and unclear. The sound is better now but GoPro microphones aren't great to begin with.

THis was a good case, until it broke. Unfortunately we checked 4 different best buys while out of town but none had the case in stock.

I Love this item, it is great when using it for general activities. But I realized there are cheaper alternatives that work just as good.

Camera is exposed so just be aware of your surroundings

Got this hoping it was compatible with the hero 4 since the specs were identical. The only difference is the shutter button on the hero 4 sticks out more than the 3 or 3+. Every time I tried to close the frame the shutter buttons would always be pressed down. Since I like having the quick vid on every time I would close it the camera would start recording and the only way to stop it is by opening the frame. Ended up returning it the next day. Still waiting for them to come out with the one compatible with the hero 4.

If you want to capture better sound from your GoPro, you have to get this Frame mount. Just remember to stay away from the elements because it offers very little protection, if any. It does come with a lens protector.

I bought this because I was hating the audio that was coming from my GoPro while it was in its water-proof casing. This allows clear access to the built-in mics while also giving you the ability to mount your GoPro to any accessories. Additionally, it comes with a lens cover so you do not have to worry about scratching the lens on your GoPro if anything were to happen to it.
