    I bought this stick to use it as multipurpose use because this is especially used for in-water but I use for every time. It does do it's job, it holds my camera & floats in water. Or course it doesn't stay straight up instead it tilts my camera right side up but it's fine for me as long as it stays afloat. Works great, its short handle but really that's all I need.

    I have seen people with the regular extension swivel pole, but they do not float if dropped. I would another one if there was an option to purchase a longer pole.
