It does what it says. It goes on easy, stays nice and tight, and if you let go of the camera while you're swimming with the dolphins, the camera floats until you can retrieve it. It's like having a nice little isurance policy. One pro tip - Attach something brightly colored to it. Makes it easier to find if it floats away.

Easy to use and easy to handle floats stays on top

I decided to go with the other brand because I liked the high visibility of the yellow, but this looks like a solid accessory.

We were really excited about the GoPro initially. I think it takes a lot of practice to get decent footage. Didn't realize that so many extra add-ons accessories would be needed. This was only one of them. It's a must.

GoPros are so small, there really isn't a good way to hold them in your hand. This hand grip is small enough to tuck in a large pocket or backpack and provides good quick place to hold your GoPro. It will float and support the GoPro with the LCD Screen backpack on it. Without it, the GoPro is slightly negatively buoyant.

GoPro cameras are small and hard to handle based on size. This provides a great way to hold and shoot pics.

I got the floating handle for activity use in the water so far its worked great! The handle comes with a wristband so you can tighten it on your wrist and not lose it in the water. It is very light compared to other floating mounts I have looked at! It also comes with a new "tool" used to tighten the screws and also a handy bottle opener. Its a great handle mount to have.

Having the extended handle allows me to get the best picture. I can get away from the folks that are sometimes in the way.

Because of the wrist strap and the floating handle it is great for underwater use. Not heavy or bulky

We absolutely were so happy we purchased this accessory. It made snorkeling a breeze. We made sure that strap was on tight and obviously hold the handle.. There were people complaining that the flotation accessory they bought didn't work because it didn't float. It is the ocean, you still need to hold onto it.

Kept me safely knowing my GoPro would not sink to the bottom of the ocean when snorkeling on vacation
