very good but can be substituted by other accessories, you need to define which ones you will buy. In my case the wrist could be a better fit

This was part of a package from Best Buy. Not sure I would spend the money on it seperatly becasue the camera will float with it but when the bac pac battery and case is connected it tends to float just below the surface of the water. Size is perfect to hold compared to others on the market that are alittle large in you hand. I do like it though.

I bought this to use on vacation. I used it when I went snorkeling and loved the wristband! Not to mention, if you don't have the wristband on and you accidentally let go of the stick, it will float!

Sometimes you are willing to pay a little more for something knowing it's good quality. That's the case here. You can cheaper ones online, but I wanted it now and the price wasn't way out of line. It works well with the hero 5 black. It's comfortable to hold. Can't comment on floating ability yet, but I have no reason to doubt GoPro.

I have had my GoPro for 3 years now. I use it for travel and work videos (not extreme sports). This handle makes it so much easier to film now as well it has a nice wrist guard strap on it. Love it!

This will keep your camera from drowning if you happen to not connect the wrist strap, as my wife did. It will bob around with an orange plug at the bottom to allow you to find it if you happened to drop it off of a boat. This will not however, keep your camera upright while floating. The way the camera mounts, the weight immediately inverts the video if you're filming. While floating in the waters of Mahogany Bay, Roatan, I didn't lose my GoPro and my wife didn't lose her cool when it slipped out of her hand.

Bought this for my GoPro session. It competes the package and was used in the ocean and pool. Orange tip floats up so it's easily visible if lost in water. Grip texture is adequate.
