I bought one of these for a trip to the ocean and it really does float. I found out the hard way. I lost track of my camera and it was bobbing on top of the water.

If you spend $400 on a nice camera, you have to take care of it. Why not something that allows you to hold the camera and not sink when in the ocean! $30 to save $400 is a no brainier.

Used this while snorkeling and handle was as weightless in the water as it was out. The wrist strap added additional peace of mind as well. It's the perfect add-on for any water adventure.

I love it. Nice grip and no issues. One recommendation is that if you want something to work as expected, then do NOT cut corners and buy the approved (name-brand) items related to the device.

Helpful for some activities. Sometimes is annoying since you are usually holding it and it becomes a nuisance for other activities.

Used it for 2 weeks now went down as deep as 70 feet and no problems/ Got some good pics.

Light, floats, handy. I have used it for snorkling, cycling and walking around. Well built. A sales person in Best Buy reccomended it over another brand. And I am glad I listened to him!

This is a great accessory for my daughter's go pro camera. She can bring it in the water and not worry about it sinking to the bottom or losing it in the water because the handle floats.

I first bought the floater that sticks to the housing. It was ok. I saw a lot of people using the floating hand grip. They all loved it. So I bought it and love it. Best for water use.

Why spend all of that money on a great camera that you are going to take into the water and let it sink to the bottom... get this floating handle and not worry about losing your camera!

This item floats with no problem. I have used it in pools and beaches. It is lightweight with a comfortable grip. I also use the grip when I am recording videos away from water.

Handle is very durable. Held my camera in place and adjustable when needed. Great for the water, dries up well...does not leave an odor from pool or ocean water. So worth it!!

Just got back from a 2 week vacation in mexico and the float grip works so great in the swimming pool and also when it was being used for snorkeling! Must buy for any Go Pro User.

This floating hand grip is awesome because you can record under water and it ties to your wrist, but if it gets away you can still find it because it will acruelly float to the top.

This handle is awesome. It helps to hold the camera. It's even better for the water. It floats. This way if the wrist strap comes off. Your camera will float to the surface.

You really need an accessory like this for the Go Pro otherwise holding and manuevering the camera is awkward and difficult. This is inexpensive and dies the trick. There and better and more expensive ones on the market for sure that offer steadycam capabilities but if you're just using it to point and shoot this will work.

Haven't used it yet in the water but looks great and will start using it when the boat is ready for the water!

Got this for sailing vacation. Did great snorkeling with keeping go pro pretty stable. Easy to use, lightweight. Only once did It come out of hand in very shallow water but did float.

I didn't drop the camera in the water, so I can't comment on how well it floats. It does make it easier to hold the camera by hand and keep it steady enough to take some great video.
