I purchased this to use with my new GoPro and unfortunately never got around to using it on vacation because my GoPro camera screen cracked by accident, compromising its waterproof feature. Oh well. The hand grip is comfortable to hold, and it doesn't seem like it would provide much more reach than if you held the GoPro with your hand, but it does. And let's you capture much more steady picture/video.

I love using my GoPro The Handler whenever I use my Hero4. It makes it easy to hold onto for steadier shots. Disney Parks do not allow selfie sticks of any kind, but the The Handler is and I've never been questioned when I bring it in. The Tool ensures your GoPro is screwed in tight enough, so it doesn't fall off or have your camera angle accidentally pushed down/up. Definitely a must have GoPro accesory.

This was a good handler for my GoPro. It was not heavy and can be used on water.
