It did it's job, but it was a little too bulky. The strap helped with that but it was too big to stick in your pocket to free up a hand. We never really let it go to test it's floating capabilities since we were in the ocean, but it seemed to bob just fine around our wrist.

This small and handy accessory is a great tool for using your GoPro. I'm not one to put a camera on my head or strap it to my chest, so I found this grip to be the most useful for my camera. Time will tell how well the spongy grip can withstand the elements and continual use.

We have a Hero3+ and this works exactly as I had hoped. will bring the camera up to the surface as it should. Just to be sure to put the wrist strap around your wrist and keep ti tight. My son did not and when hit by a wave let go of the camera. It popped up right next to me.

I'm very happy with my purchase as it comes in handy with my life as I'm always on vacation and in the water. Very impressed and happy with it.

Floats as you'd expect and is easily visible with the orange cap. But bear in mind that if you over tighten the camera the ring will crack. Mine still works just fine with the small crack. Overall works as expected and a great purchase for a day on the lake.

I purchased this for my Cancun trip and it worked well. My GoPro definitely floated in the water for all of my underwater action photos...

I was skeptical about buying a handle but I got tired of holding it by hand. It's secured by wrist and is easy to grip plus lightweight.

Great camera for the inexperienced photographer. Easy to operate; not much on how to set up included with the camera. All on line.

The handle itself does as it says, however I feel the addition of the tightening key is what helps sell the floaty. I feel there could've been a little more foam and a brighter color for easier visibility, just like the floating back door attachment.

This GoPro - The Handler Floating Hand Grip really comes in handy for more than just being in the water with your GoPro. My son uses it in a number of different ways... skateboarding, swinging, diving... to name a few. Such a peace of mind this summer when he brought his GoPro into the ocean. The waves were very strong and he was afraid of losing his camera, but he was able to secure it around his wrist. This is a great option with lots of angle views available, it's just up to you to get started with it!

We just complete a Tough Mudder in TN, and it worked really well. We even tested it when the hand grip fell in the water..IT FLOATS!

Well designed and easy to use. It floats well with my action cam attached and the orange color is easily visible.

I originally purchased the Handler over the GoPole Bobber because it just seemed more sleek and I liked the foam grip of the Handler vs the rubber on the Bobber. I actually never ended up using the Handler because I decided to return it and buy the GoPole Evo. The Evo seemed a little more versatile since it could extend. I might still purchase the handler again in the future if I ever do just want a nice, small hand grip. I did quite a bit of research and comparison to other floating hand grips and the Handler would definitely be my choice.

This little guy comes in handy when you want to bring your gopro and put it in your pocket. Its not too small but not big at all!

Been using our camera on the lake, and this is a great accessory out there....it floats! Provides stability for videos and pics.

I got this for my 11 year old it's a really great device for very active kiddos. I would recommend this product to everyone.

Great mountain handle for many types of underwater video recording don't worry if it's it's of your head straight to the top

Seems like high quality. Took about 100+ videos on my trip. Had trouble with viewing and editing on my computer, but I think that was a computer issue and not a GoPro issue. Don't like the fact that you have to buy the preview screen separate.

I just needed a comfortable grip for holding the GoPro while traveling and this was perfect. Really comfortable and easy to use. The fact that it floats is just a bonus. If you're looking for a good grip and don't want something that looks like a selfie stick, just get this. No cheap parts unlike other competitor brands.

This floating handle grip is amazing! I used it during my trip in Hawaii this year and it worked really well with my GoPro.
