    Its a decent mount, I don't use it as intended, I use it for mounting in unique locations. But works great every time

    Pretty great little clamp for my violin. The rubber lips on the clamp doesn't damage my instrument. If you are still worried, you can put a piece of cloth between the clamp to further protect the finishing on your instrument.

    I bought this to mount a virb in a Cessna. There aren’t many surfaces strong enough that keep it stable in that airplane. It should work fine on something that isn’t moving
