Love the fact that the gopro remote is water proof

Great product. However is expensive for what it is.

GoPro Hero4 is a very versatile camera for both print and video pics. Will be using it exclusively on my trip to Sturgis this year. Have mounts for helmet as well as clamps for fairing of motorcycle and suction mount that will be used on my trailer vehicle a 2015 Ford Expedition. Hope to document the entire trip

This is a great feature for the go pro when you cannot manually push the button to snap a shot or video. also great for doing selfies since you can position the camera, stand where you want and snap the pic wirelessly avoiding those "selfie picture taking faces". The only downside to this remote is the battery dies quickly. So, don't take it backpacking as it will die quickly (unless you then carry something to charge it with). We were backpacking in Glacier and with moderate use and cold temps it didn't last our trip of a couple days.

This is my first time using a Go pro camera of any type and I was pleased to find out that it was easy to use and took great videos of my family skiing trip.

Smart Remote is a handy tool when you are using on a helmet or chest harness, but the battery life is limited, at most 30-45 mins. I found myself getting frustrated with having to constantly charge after every use. Use sparingly if you decide to purchase.

I got this remote to use in the winter on my snowmobile. The wrist strap is too short to go around my coat sleeve, very poor battery life in the cold weather. Pairing the device is a pain.

I got this for free with purchase of my gopro the cost of this at BestBuy at the time was I believe $80 which is a little crazy IMO but for some instances you really need it. If you plan on recording yourself from a distance while this isn't really needed it sure does make it a lot easier. I used it a few times and I found it a must have for those type of instances other than that its meh. While it is awesome to have I don't think I could justify the cost if I didn't get it for free. Im sure there are a ton of great uses for it for some but for me I used it I think 2 times while on vacation. It works great and has really good range on it.

great camera, works very well and gives you awesome shots that you would never had taken before. easy to use, only problem is you have to buy alot of accessories for it.

great remote for when your biking , or doing stuff when your camera is attached to something else other than yourself, the only bad this is if you use the camera for scuba diving the remote is only good for 31 feet , as the camera is good for further depths depending on the case it is in.

I purchased this remote for my cruise to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel. With the pole I had it was great. I used the wrist band and let me son walk with the pole and GoPro and used the wristband and remote to take "his height" pictures and video. Overall great product.

This remote is light and simple to use. I like that fact that it comes with a Velcro strap for my wrist. I'm a very clumsy person so I make sure that strap is on.

The distance that it works is awesome....I wish it would connect to the GoPro differently ....but it's very responsive and I like the fact that it's re chargeable ...

Good buy however , battery life is short and charger is a specific charger not the same as the gopro's , water proof , tested the controller in both beach and lake

This remote is so convenient and makes the GoPro experience such an enhanced process! Easy to use, and it's waterproof. Love it!

This remote is a great device for your GoPro. I can have it in one hand while I have the mounted GoPro in the other. It's so convenient to press the remote button to start and stop recording. Also great if you want to set the GoPro out and step away before you start recording. The only downside is the charging connection. It is not USB - C but is instead some kind of proprietary connection. This forces you to carry the remote charging cable with you wherever you go.

Very much recommended to any picture and video loving person a must have gadget to own, easy to used and the result are amazing.

This remote was easy to program and will turn off and on multiple cameras. It worked great on all 4 of mine.
