Great addition for a go pro owner. The wi-fi connection burns through the battery quickly on the camera.

Have waited and waited to get one of these and it is a wonderful purchase . Will use at the lake a lot .

I was slow to buy this remote, not sure if I would spend too much time getting it to work. This was a no-brainer. I affixed my camera to a corner pole in my conference booth, put remote in my pants pocket. When I wanted a pic, felt for the raised area on remote face, press and done

I like the remote. The controls are very simple. It allows you save battery life on the actual camera, because you don't have to illuminate the screen on the camera to change settings. The band is Velcro for various wrist sizes. I have also used it as a selfie button.

I use my GoPro a lot when riding my motorcycle. It has been awkward to start and stop while riding and numerous times I missed recording because I didn't push the right button or push it adequately. This remote works great! No more missed video or fumbling with the buttons.

Product is awesome to have for the camera systems and multiple set ups. Can control single camera or multi at a time. Keep in mind that you cannot control Fusion and Hero on the same remote at the same time. Fusion is solely operational by itself.

It is a funcional camera. However i realize that Sony has a similar camera 100 dollars cheaper

It made my life easier! I’m Deaf and I can’t hear GoPro beeping sound if it’s on or not while on my motorcycle. This Remote will tell me when it’s on and can make adjust setting whatever I want. Love it!

Go pro 4 sliver is a great camera great for recording & taking pics especially with a selfie stick

This GoPro remote was purchased to make it easier to capture kayaking experiences. It makes it much simple than trying to fumble with a phone app and bringing in a fish.

We bought a Hero8 and a few weeks later got the Smart Remote. It's been useful for action selfies w/ the GoPro on a tripod while mountain biking. Also handy for quick trailside family selfies. Good range, works well.

This gadget accessory for the GoPro is quite handy and is easy to get set up. The connectivity worked well and paired easily with the camera. It makes taking photos remote or while using the strap a breeze. Best Buy was kind enough to price match which was even better.

Great for hands free shooting. Great for taking pictures while camera is on tripod or monopod.

I've had my GoPro Hero 5 Black for over a year now, but only recently purchased the remote. I really wish it was something that was included in the GoPro package, as I quickly learned how essential it is. If you use any sort of "stick" or monopole, or even the GoPro floaty, chances are you'll ruin your own photo to reach up and snap the shutter, OR your "GoPro take a photo" voice command will get snatched away by wind. (Happened to me in Hawaii, which is why I purchased the GoPro.) Now with the remote, strapped to whatever extender I'm using, I can take photos/vids with one hand. Not too keen on the velcro being the only way to secure it (although there is a keychain) but for what it does, I love it. $80 is still a lot though. Would recommend to anyone who has a GoPro. Buy it with your camera - don't be like me and buy it 12 months later!
