Solved a problem

After much experimentation with various camera mounting methods I decided a mount on the front bumper was the best location for the least amount of vibration. The remote allows activation of the camera from the driver's seat to record and stop when I want to.

Great at long distant control.. poor battery life.

The battery dies way too fast and there's no quick way to charge it other then to plug it in to an outlet or battery pak to recharge. Kind of a bummer if you're out for the whole day and having to pause to charge it up.
