    This remote is really useful to have if you'd rather not use your smartphone to control your GoPro. It can be attached to a lanyard or worn like a watch with the included wrist strap. It's a little pricey yes but it is made with the same quality as the cameras and has some very nifty features (like controlling multiple cameras).

    This is great for controlling your gopro at a distance. Dependable but to an extent. The battery dies way too fast and there's no quick way to charge it other then to plug it in to an outlet or battery pak to recharge. Kind of a bummer if you're out for the whole day and having to pause to charge it up.
