nice addition..convenient...can be a little fussy sometimes pairing it with the gopro...don't use it as much as i thought i would. typically you would have the gopro within arms reach while shooting.

This is an essential for the go pro camera... I had a hard time getting the go pro to hear me when I wanted it to take a picture without yelling at it like I was some mad tourist haha! Buy it, you will use it more than you think

I bought this camera for attending a yearly retreat, the images and sound are great. It’s my first experience with the GoPro camera, I enjoy it and he comes handy. I will highly recommend it.

I really love the size and features of this product however it is so difficult getting it to pair with my device.

Cons- Wish the screen and strap was double the size. Also below 30 degrees the remote lags to start up. Pros- Easy to navigate to your options. Very fast response to your camera. Sleek look for eye applealing view.

Great buy! Allows me to capture pictures of myself and my family with the wireless Bluetooth connection. The remote comes in handy when trying to take a group or family photo.

The package arrived on time for my Cabo San Lucas, Mexico vacation. The configuration is very easy. Everything works good. I was able to use in underwater.

Short battery life. You can't replace a battery when it dies mid-hike. But, when it is on, its nice to be able to control the camera from your wrist.

bought this for my trip to Hong Kong and Taiwan and it work pretty good for taking selfies. Just one problem is that will easily disconnect and hard to connect when there is too much wifi point which mess up the frequency.

This remote unit looked perfect for my needs. Basically I needed to be able to control my gopro hero 7 black from half a court away at large sports tournaments. I'm not far but there are plenty of interference from other cameras/phones/etc. At least I assume it is from interference because the unit will not stay connected to the gopro. Or it would look like it is connected but upon pressing record, the connection is lost. Even if I could get it to work 50% of the time, it's not worth the asking price.

I wanted a remote so that I wouldn't have to use my phone. I used the phone to get the angle I wanted video, then just used the remote. As much as I wanted to call the wrist strap goofy, it came in handy bouncing down a trail in a Jeep.

I wouldn't say there's anything particular wrong with it other than the go Pro app does the exact same thing so why pay $70 for something that you get for free. I returned it to Best Buy .

The remote is good for what it is, if you need a remote for your go pro this one works great, however it’s not something that everyone would need or use on a constant basis

We went on a 3500 mile trip on our canam spyder. Did a great job of recording everything. Just wish we had a sd card that lasted all day. Great photos. Hooked up cord to video longer but sd card didn't last for full day. 64 mg

I strongly recommend this device for it comes with a strap that can be used as a wrist band that avoids the use of the cel phone when taking pictures It's much more confortable and practical Don't miss this purchase

It is easy for me to forget what button to push to turn on or off on the camera. But on the smart remote it is easy to remember.

A must have if you plan on setting your GoPro up in a hard to reach place or anywhere away from you. A big plus is being able to turn the camera on and off remotely to savethe battery and get mmaximum run time.

For my needs the remote is a necessity. The only criticism I can come up with is the charging port. I would rather have a small port in the side then having to release the strap and insert a connector. I never remember to bring it.

One of the best accessories you can buy for your GoPro if you’re wanting to use it hands free. I use it to record my fishing trips and family time so it works amazing for those things for sure!!!

Like not having to use my phone to control the camera on the go. Only downside is the WiFi has to be on which uses power but the same holds true if using a phone.
