awesome accesory with my new gopro. Easy to use remote

The best thing about this remote that it is waterproof but I would not dive into the water with it. Also it can control up to 50 gopros at once.

When I first bought my GoProp, I thought using the app on my phone/apple watch would suffice but that can get annoying. This remote makes life easier when you are hiking or skiing and want to snap a photo quickly are start recording. And of course, it is great for taking photos on the water. I will say the only annoying thing is that if you take it underwater (like I did when I went snorkeling) the wifi connection between the camera and the remote breaks. So it can just be annoying while you are waiting for them to reconnect.

This is a must have for any GoPro camera. Connects easily to and controls all camera functions.

This is a useful remote as a companion to your GoPro when needing to take pictures/video record from a distance. Downside is that though waterproof, it doesn't respond to the GoPro when under water, and at times it takes awhile to sync with the GoPro.

My son loves his go pro. He wanted the remote so he could attach the go pro to his helmet and be able to use the go pro without taking the helmet off. It has worked great for him. He was very happy with the gift.

Having lots of fun with this. Have great memories now of my adventures in the Bahamas and the Dominican Republic. It was easy for me to learn and usually it takes me awhile.

I use this remote primarily while kayaking and fishing. Makes it easier to control GoPro from the kayak seat without having to reach for the camera itself.

This remote helped take great group shots while on vacation!! Small and easy to carry and keep on you with easy to wear wrist strap and quickly charges.

GoPro Smart Remote is worthless and causes issues with the gopro recording. Remote does NOT work with the go pro. Remote will freeze the gopro, the camera will still blink like it is recording but it actually is not recording. The remote will not charge half the time, even though it is plugged in. The connector is terrible, you need 3 hands to disconnect it, one to pull the lever so you can release the clamp, another to pull the report and another to hold the cord. Why would you put a clamp on a charger. remote needs to be constantly charged, if it is in your bag not charging for more than a few hours it will not last the 45min needed to get half a hockey game or will only work a few minutes, or won't turn on.

Should be added to ANYONE'S collection of GoPro accessories. I use it EVERY time

Online it said it was compatible with Hero3, Hero3+ and Hero4. However, when you get to the store, the product says that it is compatible with all Hero4 GoPros, but only had limited compatibilities with Hero3 and Hero3+ GoPros. For the price, I want full compatibility use with my Hero3+. 2 star review based on the misleading ad online. It should say; Compatible with all Hero4 GoPro series with limited compatibility with the Hero3 and Hero3+ GoPro series. I would recommend this product to a friend that has a GoPro4 only.

The go pro wireless control is perfect for everything, worked great underwater and in the snow. its a perfect combo for people who own gopoles or long selfy sticks, it allows you to take your pictures and videos without having to touch the camera anyore

No problem.....its connect right away via Bluetooth connection to your go pro.i have hero black 4. Make sure they are both have charge.

I bought the remote but if you have a smartphone it does everything in the app that the remote does. If you have smartphone save your money.

Great remote for the gopro only con is that the bluetooth has to stay connected on the camera even when its off therefore you lose battery. Other than that great accessory

i thought i would be able to use this while snorkeling or underwater sports,did not know that Bluetooth doesn't work underwater. Out of water have no problem other than great for selfies on land, but if you have iPhone you don't need it , don't waste your money. BTW bundle (remote+ bacpac) doesn't have smart remote, has regular remote, please search for difference B4 buy
